  • not better than coronation street tram crash

  • 5 mins after talk 8 mins later crash

  • I wish Jackson had been more understanding and patient.. He knew deep inside that Aaron likes him. Shouldn't have hurt him this bad. And hearing the crash, seeing him almost dead - pretty too much to take for a kiddo who's just learning to love - an unbearable heartache on Aaron's side.

  • hit by a class 47

Train driver: "ooh, ooh, is my train al right, i think that stupid van scratched the buffer beam, and oh, no its smashed the headlight...

  • Beautifully Done, I loved their love story line sad how it ended

  • Hmm I recognise that crash sound effect...OH YEAH...it was on Thomas The Tank Engine.

  • Actually quite scary...I was soo scared that I tried to find it funny to hide my fear. Brill"!

  • this was filmed in my village :D

  • the person in the lorry should have helped him!

  • Is it mean of me, when I saw the car stop on the tracks, I thought not OMG! but "That's not the worst bit" (Camp singing voice)

  • omg proper nearly crying there :'(

haha, not assed if i'm all emotional :P

    just started getting into Emmerdale.

  • just watched emmerdale tonight. Jacksons decided he wants to die now. It's such a sad storyline but it's bloody gripping and I think the acting by aaron and Jackson is epic!!

  • omg i dont recanise him walking

  • That was amazing!

  • This is epic fair play! Remember when i first watched it it wasgripping and still was then, theyre awesome actors and thats one of the best scenes/storylines on a soap in a long time !!

  • i remember watching this when it was on tv but i never understood what and how it happen. i think i get it a bit better know thanks for uploading

  • I reconise that level crossing...

Oh yeah it's the one I'm in charge of at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, home of the Great Central Railway Nottingham, the only heritage railway in Nottinghamshire!

  • 'i can still walk and talk' noooo! shouldnt of said it jackson :(

  • nice i like the class 47 hitting the van

  • wtf y is every1 likin it the lad nearly dies so sieriously whoeva likes tghis is sick in da mind

  • @Class37Thrash spoons forever

  • When they talk before the accident, all crying and shaking this is just brillant, such good actors!

  • So this is a British soap opera? Effects look really awesome.

  • @DaguchnaReloaded yeah it is, but we just call them soaps, not soap operas. :)

  • @jamastersam Every day man learns something new, thanks for this information :)

  • I think they should crash another plane or two on Emmerdale tbh.

  • 1 person is jackson

  • Since the tram crash was blatantly corries big story line of the year you'd have thought emmerdale would have chosen to do something a bit more within their budget that wouldnt look like corries tram crash just shat on them from a great height!

Perhaps a lamb could have got caught up in a paper airoplane crash... just a thought!

  • @ldg1985 yeah but emmerdale are having a fire to be transmitted in mid January that'll kill 2 people at least, i guess they were saving for that.

  • @09rob1234 At least 2? Fingers crossed its more like 20!

  • @ldg1985 Way too much sensation involved is what it is!

  • And that is why you should always keep your eyes on the road while driving.

Curse these midnight Light Engine movements.

  • I hope the Class 47 Diesel Loco was ok

  • crash is at 8.05

  • Only in the soaps can you have a car crash THEN get hit by a train that doesn't slow down until AFTER its hit you *rolls eyes*

  • @Jeimii you could hear the brakes slam on as soon as the train hit the van .*rolls eyes*

  • Comment removed

  • @guysandgals2 I'm not denying that haha, I'm just saying it's easy to see the van, dark or not!

  • @guysandgals2 i think jeimii must have had his sound off, because you are right, the brakes do slam on, right after impact

  • @Jeimii

Trains don't stop as quickly cars, they take a while to bring to stand and so why would the driver of the train, see a dark coloured van without lights on at an unlit level crossing in the DARK??! He wouldn't, not until he was right on top of it and then would have applied brake (or emergency brake would have kicked in), thus the noise of brakes figure after the incident.

  • But more in question is why does the cement truck driver (a ghost in the machine if ever there was one) do nothing? Jump out to witness/go to help/telephone the signalman?

All the attention is focused on the drippy driver and not what would really happen, vis. he would cannon into the back of the truck and probably go through the windscreen and die.

Fact: Emmerdale did not use Network Rail offered help. The loco hitting the van was filmed via a mirror and it was filmed on a preserved railway.

  • @Jeimii What did you expect to hear, the screech of the train's tyres???

    *rolls eyes*

    Space Cadet!

  • @Jeimii hahaha spot on!

  • @Jeimii Lmao it's actually funny!

  • @LiamBerryTea Nothing funny about somebody being paralysed for life, from a train crash - not in the least
