Everyone should think twice about using WLM if you are planning to use any other plug-ins. I have been talking with WL for several days through their Support network. After being asked to supply FTP access, I received the following response:
Hi Craig,
Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately if a plugin conflict is creating the issue, there is not much we can do in terms of helping you.
However, I will pass this on to the developers to verify that this is the case.
Craig, I'm sorry to hear that. I would imagine offering support to the thousands of plugins out there would be a nightmare for the company.
I've had no issues using Wordpress Wishlist with other plugins, but what you can do to rectify the situation is to install another blog and host your members area in a subfolder, without using the plugins that give the error.
It might be a THEME issue as well, so make sure you isolate the issue before making a conclusion on the product.

.. that's probably nowt to do with WL .. it's almost certainly a permissions issue on your web server.
