Dan is a slammin guitarist and the consummate professional. Many, even in bluegrass, see him, Barry & Ron as AK's rhythm section but they are all much more than that. Dan has chops, as he shows here!

I'm with you guys! It's hard to beat Dan Tyminski's orignal/old bluegrass. Great singer, great song writer, great performer, great instrumentalist (he plays --at least--the guitar, mandolin, and banjo)!

I saw Dan and his band at rhythm and roots just a week or so back it was a great show and to be honest i think Barry is the best mandolin player i have ever seen these guys are just awesome.
