aah this battle... this was hard in my opinion, but i never rage quited, i would just listen to Battlefield by Blind Guardian. And what was epic, was that the music was qued up so nicely with what was going on, especially when youre beating on Nemeroths face. And ended when the screen turned black.

I hated the end fight for one reason. I saved my meltagun and lasscannon for nemeroth thinking I would have to shoot him so I took out all the cultist bloodletters and chaos sm with a bolter plasma pisol and power axe it was a pain in the ass.

@117ty There won't be a next game due to numerous reasons. Space Marines didn't sell well-enough to generate a profit. THQ also is in the shitter in their financial department- so they're unable to fund any new projects, let-alone even existing ones (They're coming by scarely atm due to firing approximately 240 staff members and cutting the CEO's salary by 50%) so yeah.... an disapointing ending in the end, would have loved to see a sequel.

@RajinKinoma The game didn't sell actually that great (Only really decent in the UK), then again- the THQ financial position is in .... abyssal state, and they've cancelled/postponed all future-products that were planned until 2014 in order to get into shape again. THQ/Relic holds the IP for the Warhammer franchise alongside with GW(obviously), so I don't see any game related to Space Marine coming anytime soon, except for DoW3, which is already being played in alpha state.

Hopefully there will be more races involved and I also hope for Tyranids as enemies that Titus (or maybe a new protagonist) can fight and kill. Hopefully there will even be other races like the Necrons, or the Eldar, or maybe even the Tau. I dearly hope as well that there would be different kinds of Daemons to destroy as well. Bloodletters are fun, but imagine duking it out with Lords of Change!

@Inlesse There Is NO Handheld Space Marine Lasgun Version. Lascannon is a heavy weapon that is fired from the shoulder and requires a large backpack with ammo. Just google the lascannon if you don't know how it looks.

@Inlesse Lascannon is a dedicated devastator-only heavy weapon. If there were some classes to choose from like Devastator/Tactical/Assault, then there would be a point in adding it to the game. Handheld lascannon looks extremely unfitting. And it's no Mass Effect to have FOUR different weapons with you. They are exploiting wh40k setting for a bioware-like action-poop YOBA game! Worst of all, they ruined the true grimdark atmosphere of wh!

Nemeroth's transformation must not have been complete. If he really were a Daemon Prince, there's no way a single Ultramarine would have been able to destroy him - warp resistance or not.

I'm happy though - since many Bloodletters, Chaos Marines and Corrupted Guardsmen were killed.

@NicholasGeschke It's not a normal ultramarine. Captains are very experienced fighters. There are just 10 of them in every chapter and they server as inspiration for their companies and are unmatched in battle. It's still very hard to kill a daemon prince but nemherot is the bad guy and he must die :D.

Tyranids can cut anything and his armor is nothing for the strength of a chaos lord or daemon prince or something like that, but captains are veterans of countless wars and skilled in what they do and that makes them strong(the artificier armor and power weapons or daemon hammers contribute to that too :) ).

@proasa123 Entirely possible. It'd explain his mysterious resistance... or not, since psykers are prone to possession. Maybe his resistance stems from some variant of the Pariah gene (though not the "full" version, or the Chaos Lord wouldn't be able to affect him AT ALL), or just iron will. But I tend to think you're right, that Titus is a latent psyker at the very least.

The damage taken in the PC version of a game is often higher than that in console versions. i.e. Normal mode can look like hard mode when watching the damage done by enemies. This is done for balancing purposes. Mouse + keyboard + faster responses (fps etc) + resolution = easier to DO damage to enemies = balance this by making enemies do more damage to you.

This fight was SO dissapointing, after everything one went through you get the easiest boss fight ever.

Didn't think to try melta+lascannon, seems to work well.

I slashed through the first wave, in second wave used bolter on soldiers and plasma against marines (btw, if you hammer R while shooting, it warms up pretty slow).

Then used melta to kill the demons while pissing my armoured pants in cover. Once they were alone, killed the heretics.

And finally melta-gunned the shit out of entire final wave. Those 2 maul wielding marines were too tough on hard in close combat, even with fury on.

This is probably the worst boss fight I've ever come across, I love the game but this is just dissapointing. It would've been better if they had a stage before Titus charged into Nemeroth where Nemeroth attacked you but this is a kind of boss fight that you'd find in a game 5 years ago.
