  • ur son is really good but whats it made of

  • What is this made of of

  • Can you use regular pads on this?

  • if only you actually slid that fast on the ice

  • niceee!! hes got real good style and positioning with the slide! keep up the good work!!

  • Please Reply!!!!!!!!!!!Do you think it would be possible to make a backyard inline hockey rink with this stuff??

  • @SuperSwaggerization Im not sure on how inlines would work on that. but you could if you really wanted to but it might shift a little. I would just get a bunch of dryland flooring tiles for it even though they are a bit more expensive

  • keep it up! your son will make it to nhl :-)

  • thanks for sharing this. I might try to make one at home. I am looking to play goalie this season in a starter league and could use the practice off ice. We don't get much play time during the year.

  • i got that net it sucks

  • those aren't pads !

  • @aqworldsxyo00000 the description clearly states that hes wearing pad sleeves on his pads

  • what board is that

  • Is it a melamine door and how big is it is it 30" by 15" or what is it

  • do you need the pad sleeves?

  • pretty good for a kid his age

  • where did you get the pad sleeves

  • That kid looks great..he's obviously been practicing. Good tracking, keeping his eye on the shot, using his stick. Lots of positives. Stick with it and he's got a great future!

  • Ya, where are the pad sleeves from??

    ~~ringettegal=D~~

  • pledge works the best instead of armour all.

  • hey just wondering, where did you find those pad sleeves?

  • thats a great design .

  • Comment removed

  • What is he wearing on his feet?

  • @TheBLACKHAWKSboy Hes most likely wearing shoes or socks. I made one jsut like this and what I do is wear normal shoes with a hockey sock over the shoes so it slides on the surface. That was your pads sit on top of something instead of your bare feet

  • Is he using cardboard for pads or street pads?

  • @jessestamkos96 Dude those are real pads There pads sleeves over them so his pads dont get fucked up

  • Dude. His a great goalie. I can't wait for him to be in the NHL, Please keep his future going :D

  • I think its just something they put on the pads.

  • How much were the pad sleeves and where did you but them. Thanks

  • First demo was butterfly slide next was shimmy

  • assuming you son is 8 or 9 he has very solid movement.

  • @iUseDMR i'm a goalie and I think he is good for a 8 year old but is a little slow getting up ps his pads are too big

  • @LlamaLord6 no... im a goalie and number 1 on his butterfly slide his getting up if tremendous for his age. and my pads are up to my waste to thats better because u have more protection and makes your fivehole covered even more.

  • could you use the melamine for stick handling as well?

  • Very cool. Your son looks like he's got the movement down nicely. Just needs to keep his hands a bit steadier. He's young though so he looks like he'll be very solid in net.

  • Hi I am making one of these boards too just wondering where you got the pad covers from thanks!

  • what kind of pads r those

  • @emilyferever probably reebok p3 7k but those are pad sleeves on them

  • when he gets on real ice without the boards to help him stop hes gonna slide right out

  • @wayneshomeboy Have you ever notice that on the ice, goalies have skates??

  • I purchased a melamine board for slide boarding purposes. It's still not slippery enough, any suggestions on how to get a better slide?

  • @hydra8888 Try putting pad covers on it, it works really well. and then just spray it with some glass cleaner or bearing lubricant and wipe it off do that like 15 times and wipe it dry each time then put your pad covers on and see how that turns out

  • @TheNamesAdrian Cheers. I have Armor all & booties for my shoes. It's working okay. Any other suggestions?

  • how did you make that??? im a goalie for pee wee a and i would like to make one to practise on.. thanx :)

  • What is that and where did you get it?

  • How do you make this?

  • I have a slide board as well. I made mine 8.5 ft long as I'm 16 now but it definately helps my skating as i get ready for juniors

  • Wow,nice really good job !

Your son can be proud of his dad ;)

From Which material is the board ?

Can you although practice stickhandling on it ?

pls. write a personal mail :)

  • do you need pad sleeves?

  • @WebkinzRock0229 In the video description, "bought the pad sleeves online".

  • Pledge furniture polish would be better than armor all. Armor all is a bit oily, is it not?

  • He's going to be a good goalie! I'm sure!

  • What kind of armour all did u put on?

  • is he wearing shoes? or socks?

  • make a video of him on the ice he looks really good!

  • lol tennisball!

  • I'm wondering where you bought your sons goalie pad covers.

    Can't find them anywhere.

    Thanks.

  • hey can you use your skates on this??i can't tell haha

  • No....can't use the skates on this. You would have to get synthetic ice for that.

  • @jackpot2929 he has big pads

  • But you can get booties to go over your shoes and slide like that. I had to do it for physical therapy.

  • hey where did you buy the sleeves for the pads?

  • thx, he looks great, keep it up and he'll do great.

  • did you put anything on the melamine? or thats way it is? thx

  • it helps if you put some Armour All on it once in a while.....really makes it slick.

  • @jackpot2929 u shouldnt put anything on it, cause it will transfer to your pads, and it will slip like nuts on ice

  • dang for 8 this kids a beast! keep it up! he has a bright future ahead of him!

  • whats the distance from board to board?

  • Board to board is just over 6 feet. That is a regulation net behind him.

  • thats an awsome slide board, how much did the melamine cost?, i went and bought lanolium and i dont think its gunna work.

  • The board cost about $30 at Home Depot.

  • GREAT FORM! I am a goalie too. And I must say this kid has skill... have you had him in training???

  • On the ice about four times a week or more. Loves the butterfly slides.
