Hey how does it sound under normal driving conditions? Is it fairly quiet? I was thinking about doing these mods too but I want my car to stay fairly quiet under normal acceleration and highway speeds as I will be driving my child in it.
don't get the 5th gen, its not faster anywhere. 4th gen is lighter, looks better, has that sweet dash...and if you get a 5th gen, the sh is harder to find parts if you want to mod, and yeah, it handles great, while the SH tanny functions...
get a 5th gen they are a bit faster on the top end! at one point i had a 96 si with a h23 and a 01 sh with the infamous h22! dad bought it for you!! you have one hell of a nice dad!

just for the record the H23 is not a VTEC engine and produces about 25KW less than the H22. same bore different stroke length

this h23, but they did produce an h23 vtec that made the same power as the h22 but with a lower redline (7000rpm)

love the 4th gen dashboard, made me sad when they went to a more bland looking dash for the 5th gen

i know i know...my dad bought it for me and my brothers, this summer I'm buying another gen 4 lude manual though!! and i can drive stick! haha

i live in MIAMI and auto is the best here( so much traffic that you'll get tire of driving manual like in a moth.
