Your Windows or other OS is stored on your hard drive. With this method you are deleting your hard drive. Now when you ask yourself "wonder if this removes mah windows" what does your logic reply?
Yes it removes your OS, since it's on the hard drive, UNLESS you have 2 drives, normally the one labelled C: is the one with windows unless you have stated otherwise, in which case you'll know the drive. If you delete (example) D: drive your OS is safe.
ok, i got a question. I have 27.9 gb and only 1.77 gb left, and i have ran disk clean and defrag a whole bunch of times and i still don't any space. i cant even do a proper defrag because i dont have 15% free space. what can i do? also if i do what is explained above, when im done will i have the ability to turn on my notebook and get online and do my homework like i normally would?
@vstrap999 defrag doesnt give back free space and efrag is only for hard drives the hard drive is a cricle and stuff get spread all over that platter and it need to be pushed cloaser together so you will have better acces time ect it doesnt give any free space or compress files
Thanks Again Dave,You are 1 of the best and simple to understand, when someone like me knows nothing about computers ;} thanks again for your help and i enjoy all the Vids
i tried using killdisk before but for some reason i cant boot from cd and there is no option of booting from cd in bios anymore either so i dont know what to do. anyone, any ideas??
