@sseexxyydude Depends on your skill level and what effects you need. All in all, the distortions on this thing aren't the greatest (at least through my amp). They can sound really shrill, but my fender amp probably contributes to that. Besides the distortion & stomp boxes, it's pretty good. The chorus effects are great. I've got another distortion pedal (deltalabs rd-1) and i use my rp90 for chorus, reverb, delay, wah, and volume control.

@jerronimo3000 dude you say it does not have good distortion. you have fender guitar with all SINGLE pickups. No wonder

@sseexxyydude I do recommend it, but not for distortion. Clean is pretty good. If you buy it, I suggest you either have good overdrive/distortion on your amp or a dedicated overdrive/distortion pedal.

@afas1995 unfortunately no. There's a few effects that cannot be used together, like chorus and pitch shift. don't know why digitech did that

@TheGearaxyz95 yep. One's a digitech model and the other one is based off the crybaby wah. there might be another called full range wah, but it think that's the digitech one

@TnTMusic64 yep it's got a dunlop crybaby wah emulator and also something called "full range wah". I think that one's made by digitech, just built into the rp90.

@smashbrosbrawler3 ya man it's pretty sweet! if you can afford it though it might be better to get a newer version the RP series, such as the rp500 (i think that's the newest one with an expression pedal built in) i haven't had the chance to look at it myself but it looks like it would probably be better.

@FullmetalFan500 the only recording i've done with it is from the line out on the pedal (i don't have a mic) and obviously that doesn't sound very good. i can't really tell you how good it'd be with an amp and mic, sorry.

I know how that feels! Just whatever you do don't get discouraged. Practice slowly and get it right and you'll be able to play decently in a relatively short time. Remember, you'll get there eventually if you keep at it! A common beginner mistake is to try to play fast a soon as you learn something new but PLEASE don't try to do that. get it down PERFECTLY doing it slowly and work your way up faster. A metronome is essential. I hope I've helped with those few tips. Happy Playing!

to jerronimo300 hey buddy i been playin for six months.. i also got mine at guitar center.. i learned off of youtube.. its really much easier than looking at tabs or chords.. my amps a peavy i recomend it .. its the best.. and anyone looking for a multi effects pedal digitech rp 90 is the best. they have a size lower at guitar center, but this one is way worth the extra 25 bucks ... hope i helped someone

No i do not have a teacher. I've been playing for a year and i've used justinguitar(dot)com all the way. Justin Sandercoe runs it. He gets really in depth in his lessons.He's got hundreds of free video lessons and most of them are translated into a bunch of languages if you need it. It's really a great site. Hope it helps you!
