The concept of the rack is such that only the rubber the tire comes in

contact with the rack and never touches the rim or any other metal on the

bike. The tire is held by the tubes that run parallel with the tire and

is locked in place by an over toggle effect. The tire in effect acts as a vibration dampener during transport.
