People who don't do comedy don't know the conditions of the audience. Have you ever paid attention to the other audience members while you are at a show, or the hour of the show. 11 o'clock shows during the week with a 30 to 40 age demographic is going to be harder than Asian kids who pay attention like it's their job. Adults have learned to ignore when people speak like their children and the t.v. on at night.

I don't buy the Funny is funny argument. Because Funny is objective. It's just like everybody says to DJs Play " good music" Good music means something different everyone. Pop the BEST county act into a dance club and guess what? They NOW suck! Garth brooks wasn't "good" ...till he found his audience. She is really good. It just some happens that the "lets get drunk and high" crowd isn't HER audience. Most typical party people WON'T connect to this type of act. Shes funny...just not to you.

It's fun to see how this material doesn't work ( or as well as it should) in a place where they main objective is to SELL BOOZE! She it really good but this IS NOT her audience. You can't tell drunk people that you are more mature than them because you give up booze! She is by far my favorite comedian .
