Actually, that is valid on a table tennis for people using wheelchairs as long as the ball does not go out from the sidelines of the table after it bounces. I think the lineman judged it didn't go that way so it was a point for the Chinese.

In this type of table tennis, all the balls must go directly towards the opponents baseline. You cant hit a ball which would exit any sideline or a ball which would rest at the table (drop shot) after it bounced. Hope that helps!
