if you read Howard Sterns boks, he explain how perdinent Robin is to his show, and how much he needs her. Her laugh lets him know when he is funny, and without her he just cant do the show. One of the first things he did when they were on Sirius is buy her a new car , like a BMW or something. He loves her and he needs her there, and i think he knows a little something about entertainment.

Robin's traditional purpose/position since day one was to READ THE NEWS, I guess that means she was always the lead comic on the show? NO! She's never meant to be funny, so therefore she isn't. You obviously don't know what a straight man's purpose is, then. A straight man isn't supposed to be funny, a straight man's job is to feed material to the funny man (or men).

I can't imagine the Stern show without Robin, especially the news, which gives lots of material to feed off of for Stern and crew.

You have to also understand how much hard work and effort Robin puts into the news. She doesn't just grab news pieces, she works her butt off.
