Hard to tell... I think it is tibetan. But there are many dialects in Tibet : whether she comes from Amdo or Kham, it will be really different.

I think we all agree to say that this mtv is really nice !

i like yangjin lamu a lot, but i have my doubts about her actually being Tibetan as she's singing in Chinese.. maybe she lives there but that most definately ain't Tibetan language ...< i'm pretty certain anyhooo>

i have no idea what language it is... i have listened to many Tibetan songs, sung in Tibetan and all i know is this doesn't sound Tibetan.. its a lovely song though < whatever language it is>:-)

Hi Ivonice, Tibet has many regions and every region has its own dialect. I am sure you don't know all of them and for that reason you shouldn't claim the song is in chinese. to be honest, I don't understand the whole song but can hear her singing 'dro la chag tsel lo' at the end.

hi, she is about as tibetan as they come. her mandarin chinese has an accent.

i'm sorry if i caused any offence, you are absolutely right, i don't know any regional dialects of chinese, or tibetan, as i am not a linguist..as i said,she has a lovely voice.. and language is not important..< unless a person is lost and looking for directions:-)
