  • Are you sure he was a palomino and not a champagne? They are two completely different genes. Son get his color from his sire, and he goes back to Palomino Peavine, one of only two champagne lines. The other line comes from Cream Tonian. I will have a champagne from that line one day. I also have a champagne mare that goes back to Palomino Peavine. I have one palomino mare, also. We have 3 champagne colts and 1 palomino one at the farm now. All are by this stallion. Thank you.

  • His eyes are a light amber. A light blue at the top of the iris. Looks like they didn't change all the way. My champagne mare's eyes are a light brown. Darker than his.
