  • Wonderful videos, so helpful! Thank You so much!!! :)

  • @sexyWVgal These moves are done on a spinny pole. For a non spinny pole please watch Vid #5

  • Thanks so much for posting these beginner moves, i am learning from your videos!

  • It's really helpful instead of just explaining left/right leg/arm also clarify if its the outside or inside leg of the pole. Other than that your a great teacher. I am going to keep trying at it!! :)

  • @hellofrankenbery yea i know, but some moves gets a bit confusing when determining what is inside or outside, so to make all videos uniform, i'm using 'left' and 'right'.

  • What kind of pole do you use??

  • @SYDNEYH1808 This is a gold titanium xpole, it's on spinny mode

  • Hello, thanks for sharing this. I tried doing this but I can only do half a spin, what am I doing wrong?

  • @sylai2 is your pole a spinny pole or stationary/still pole?

  • I love your tutorials! Sometimes after class is over it's hard to repeat and practice with no guidance. They're so easy to follow and the accent makes it even better. =p

Unrelated question. How do u get your hair to fall and flow like that? Please tell me it's something I can buy.

  • @superjen84 haha, guess it's one of the perks of being asian?

  • @MissDirdyBirdy Is this a chrome pole you are using or GT?? 45 or 50? It looks chrome but I can't really tell due to the lighting :( Great job on the 'Girls We Dig' video as well! ^_^

  • @cnan750 This is a 45mm GT xpole. The gold has worn off and thanks :)

  • @jazzmurdock It depends which poles and where you live. Good poles range from $500-$700 here in Australia

  • @MissDirdyBirdy can you get away with using a cheap pole or are they unsafe? would i be wasting my money if i bought a cheap one/

  • hello to you, i have been wanting to learn this for a long time now but not chance, and now my husband just got me this pole, but the very big problem is i havnt try or even see a pole in person, and i just try it, my god i cant carry my body, wat advice you can give for us that is really from nothing at all.. i hope you could rply to my msg it will mean so much to me and to others watching you,.. just bcome so happy when i finaly found you here i just really want to learn ths more.. keep it up!

  • @hanynits4621 You just have to keep on practicing. You need to build up your strength. It's always hard in the beginning. Practice regularly and you will get stronger. You can try push ups, and chin ups but for me i just pole danced.

  • This is hard :/ How can I get it to stop hurting my leg so bad when I squeeze!

  • @BabyTrollAli Sorry, you need to weather the pain. Pole dancing IS painful. It'll stop eventually

  • how much money can be made pole dancing?

  • @jazzmurdock what do u mean by pole dancing? Teaching? performing? As with everything, it varies.

  • @MissDirdyBirdy i ment performing. sorry i didnt specify that

  • @jazzmurdock Like I said it varies. You really need to be top of this sport to get really good income out of it. Mai Sato and Felix both perform at cirque du soleil but they are champions. I suggest u do this as a hobby and only if u love it

  • to gain the most strength would it be best to use a static pole as a beginner?

  • @louiserita It's quite difficult to learn on static then go to spinning. I don't think it's a matter of what will gain more strenght ( as spinny moves often require more strength) rather, it's what mode you are planning on using. You are building your strength regardless if you are learning on spinny or static. I learnt on spinny and am also teaching my students on spinny :) But if your goal is to dance mainly on static I recommend learning on static.

  • Hi! when I do the back hook spin I always end up on my knees... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

  • @Fefe219 more practice and you'll get stronger to hold yourself up for longer. Keep at it :)

  • is a spinning pole easier to do moves on than a static pole? these tricks seem so eassy with a spinning one and i cant do them with mine...

  • @rabidteddybears If you're asking if it's easier to spin on a spinny pole, then yes. If it's easier to do on a spinny pole then no. Spinny and static both have different challlenges to them. If you're on a static please go watch vid #5

  • i try this alot but i cant seem to get my hips straight. the outer hip is always lower. any tips for me?

  • @xxpeacexxful Seems like you're in a sitting position, and that your outer knee is also lower yes? you need to have your hips level and your knees at the same height from the floor. To do this push your hips forward so that your torso and thigh is on the same vertical plane. Your knees shouldn't be in front of your torso. As u push hips forward let your inside knee lower. Hope that makes sense
