@Gutsman1986 I'll certainly watch that video. I like to watch videos of FFXI because I do not play anymore so it brings back good memories. I still have my character active as I plan on selling it and I log on sometimes just to run around helping people, like cure people leveling in valkurm or whatever. Sometimes I feel sad because all my friends are gone and I feel alone, it is hard to part ways with things and friends you've come to know for 5 years.
@Gutsman1986 You said it, however, we're not quite in the same boat...yours sunk but mine wasn't too far off from meeting the same fate had I made a few risky and foolish decisions. Anyhow, it is best to not dwell on stuff that goes wrong. I mean, it is because you can learn from your past mistakes but not to the point where you give up everything or even living in general. It is better to look ahead or at the good things that happen to you.
Good job, it appears you had a very close call towards the end but you pulled through. On a note, I always hated how the NPCs never responded the way you wanted them to, though its obvious that she ran out of mp and couldn't heal you.
@Noah837 I never rely on that useless piece of junk Nanako, I just wanted to speed up getting her level limits outta the way. I was confident when I entered the BC, as Lv.50 no SAM gets penta thrust unless ya got at least 2 merits. I had food, merits, guts, and my trusty Tomoe. :)
