  • I think it's s great idea but some of the other comments bring up good points like how would tow a big truck and if you hit dirt on the road but it's still a cool idea

  • very good! weight to the engine:)

  • "If the motorcycle doesn't kill you, the big ole' truck your towing sure will!"

  • Hahah that's coo

  • let's see them do that with a Ford Excursion behind it, then I'm sold.

  • THIS IS MORE LIKE A POLICE FIRST RESPONSE "DOD" MOTORISTS ASSISTANCE ,TO GET YOU TO THE NEAREST ,MALL REST STOP OFF THE HWY,SO YOU CAN CALL AAA ETC

  • Comment removed

  • not a bad Idea as getting to scene can be a big issue but stopping a big load or flipping a car over I think you need a real tow truck!

  • hahah 1:52 "vag assistans" ladies call if you need assistance with your vag!

  • is there enough room on the bike for the driver?

  • That's a death trapp...... Waitn 2 go wrong

  • good invention

  • no shit

  • thats kind of cool

  • No, seriously, who needs clutches or transmissions or brakes?

  • this cant be for real! theres no practical use for a moter cycle tow vehicle. i didnt even think it was possible due to the weight differences.

  • Why?

    No, seriously, why?!

  • I think the 80s music was a nice touch

  • So the real question is... Can you still lane split? lol

  • i want to see him back up

  • Chuck Norris can tow a tank with a tricycle

  • The sticker actually says "road assistance" in Swedish.

  • @kungsgatan Lets just kep it at Vag Assasin..much funnier lol

  • What happens when he needs to reverse? haha

  • @jcadlols goldwings have reverse since late 80's

  • @frenchfriedwing I forgot about that. However it's just the starter motor running backwards right? You'd have to think it'd struggle with a car on the back. It's an interesting idea, but you wouldn't want to try to stop quickly with a wagon on the back. :)

  • what's the price, and where can you buy it?

  • I can just imagine how much it would cost to insure a motorcycle tow vehicle

  • Curious as to how much horsepower that must have to pull a vehicle like that..

  • @SY1WEK Horsepower doesn't matter so much. It's torque that's needed for this sort of operation.

  • how did the car get on it?!did he push it up???

  • haha best one i we seen

  • dont wanna loose control with that shit...

  • Towing an AWD wouldent fair so well... but good idea!

  • good idea although id like to see them recover my dodge ram 2500

  • @stueyrandall stick your ram up your ass. id like to watch one video about something cool and auto related without some dodge owning douche making some stupid comment and bragging about owning their dodge.

  • I assume the trailer has some type of brakes

  • thats an awesome idea but the first thing that came to my mind was "The Next Ghostbuster Vehicle" :P

  • what about reverse? haha

  • @rmkrider02 Goldwing 18000, reverse is standard equipment.

  • he's got to have at least some braking on the dolly wheels, or really good brakes and a lot of added weight to the bike. otherwise it will just push that bike forward in an emergency.

  • Niech spróbuje zatrzymać sie z takim ładunkiem!!!

  • @smelyalata i bet all it really takes is re-enforcing the drive train specifically the clutch, final drive assembly, etc. not to mention the goldwing has got to be the PERFECT motorcycle to use for something like that. too bad you cant use a harley for something like that. but then again you would have to make HUGE modifications to make it work with a harley.

  • @mustang2marine I don't think a Harley would ever be considered for something like that lol

  • I wonder how many transmissions that bike will go thru after a few hundred tows. Not a bad idea but would it stand up to repeated usage ?

  • Great idea! I would have loved to have seen an emergency stop, or the bike reversing up a steep gradient with car behind in the video.

That would have quietened the naysayers.

  • weir we all think brake problems will occer

  • Not this is awesome! First-On!

  • This is a good idea, How any times are tow trucks stuck in the traffic that the stalled car caused. Just needs a few more refinements. Hopefully Brakes on the dolly were included in the design..

  • @azsako oh they would HAVE to be.

  • @azsako Probably just standard "over_rider" brakes (but woohoo- oh what fun to stop on a bend- especially during rain - talk about a concertina effect). Now all U need to do at the same time as "setting" the tow dolley trailer assembly at the car-set some Motorcycle trainer_type wheels OUT and make the motorcycle into a four wheeler (that'd work better). Or? Have a daul_framed bike that could simply be expanded sideways ? Because U didn't show the bike towing BACK through all that traffic either

  • has to have electronic braking

  • there has to be extra brakes on the rear tires attached to the car.

  • interesting idea but... why?

  • @nascarnic so that the motorcycle can get through a traffic jam to the car that broke down and get it out of the way!

  • Das ist unt car thief?

  • im assuming the trailer is braked otherwise an emergency stop could end up with rider getting run over with the car he is towing

  • whats the point of this plz tell me

  • @driftbuddy It looks like such a motorcycle could split lanes and get to a car needing a tow even in stand-still freeway traffic/traffic jam. Think about it: in the opening scenes you can see that a regular tow truck could not get to a stalled car. This bike can!

  • weird...

  • You gotta be kidding.. I wont never try that with my bike!!

  • Bike win :D!!!!

  • must be a powerful bike :) imagine how much pressure is on his leg at a red light

  • Very cool idea. How much is one of those?

  • WOW thats interesting to say the least

  • used a lot in Hong Kong

  • car wreck up ahead, no shoulder

how u gonna get a tow truck through there?

this could lane split and thus speed up traffic by removing the problem vehicle faster

not useful in every situation but definatly has its upside

  • Comment removed

  • good idea for the traffic a bit scary but if it has brakes on the trailer running from the bike it should stop!i think

  • I wouldn't try this going down a mountain! :-)

  • common in Japan

  • wow I like the gold wing but this just makes it look more badass.

  • An electric winch can pull the car onto the dolly.

  • not sure how the front wheels were lifted, but it seems like you have to drive the car onto the jack.... which would almost defeat the purpose of the motorcycle tow.

Who knows, maybe the tow-jack is low enough to push the wheels onto? but what if the tires were flat? Just sayin'. Good invention though! Strong, compact & works = good engineering

  • Better have strong legs to back it up

  • @mustangnut1990 Goldwings have reverse, they just use the starting motor to reverse.

  • how much for this??

  • should not be good for ta brake :P

  • what do ya mean??

  • humm ? truck who tow trailer got electric brake on the trailer and a motther fucking big set of brake on the truck .. whats stopping this ?

  • yea fair point.. the brakes on the bike must be heavey duty..to cope with down hill pushing pressure for the vehicle being towed.. other wise it wouldnt pass saftey checks..and would not allowed to be used for vehicle recovery.. there mite be a weight restriction on the max weight the bike is capable of towing

  • Who ever thought of this is a fart smeller.

  • Bull shi?

  • as long as you dont plan on pulling something that is rwd...

  • Wow

  • Hopfully you don't need to stop.

  • ya i know eh!

  • @Dshaws90fordf150 Surely such a set up would have some kind of override braking on the trailer?

  • @Dshaws90fordf150 The trailer for sure has electronic brakes.

  • A motorcycle would be cheaper on gass then a truck.

  • Well, it would be usefull to quickly clear a wrecked or disabled vehicle just off the road to open up for traffic. Also bike fits between traffic to get there quickly. Wouldn't use for any kind of distance though.

  • no way you would be able to stop that thing going to a grade!!!! Nice but not practical

  • What if you need going reverse?

  • honda goldwings come with reverse.

    yes,a motorcycle with reverse.this isn't a new idea either

  • lololololol one toe and you need a whole new set of breaks

  • try going uphill with that for exsample a bridge haha it will be funny if the car pulls the motorcycle down hahaha

  • oh yes ...so you can bring your car where ever you cruise to...just park the bike and go to the grocery with the car ...cooool

  • e z burnouts:) :)

  • honda goldwing..........

  • 1800 cc usually i own one myself there awesome

  • Comment removed

  • NICE

  • Unbelievable!!! Wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it! Would suck in the rain, and where does the customer sit...lol but very very cool!

  • i guess the tow part has brakes. otherwise it would be way too dangerous. you can't even stop when you have 30 kg behind a bicycle (yourself + the bike weighing like 90)

  • its cool, and not a problem for a bike that size. I have lots of experience towign trailers with bikes, i towed a motorcycle trailer with a 1977 Honda CB400F, on a single road trip of 1900 miles. Also towed a small 12 foot boat on a trailer with the same CB400F, and then with a Yamaha 750. ( i have tons of photos of it all.

  • like to see how that thing stops in a hurry

  • a new Autobot.hahaha.

    transform!

  • hope u dont got to back up

  • HOLLY SOS (son of shitters) THATS FUCKING COOL

  • awesome idea but wouldnt that put a ton of pressure on that bikes drive train,im sure its geared low but still

  • thats awesome!

  • Damn nice invention! Pretty creative.

  • Just an FYI to the guy who was talking about if it were American... The Goldwing has been built in the USA since 1980 and a Harley would work just fine for this application. The air cooled Harley's are basically 2 wheeled tractors. The water cooling extra cylinders and better braking make the Goldwing a better choice. It is a cool invention. Some people just can't see a cool thing and say WOW.

  • also ich glaube viel aber das häte ich nicht geglaubt

  • it must have a driveshaft, no chain, Flat 6 1800cc, and maybe got a high proformace brakes system, with trailer tow wheels brakes..and yea, it must harder on clutchs, increasing carbons rich fuel in cylinders builds up, harder on crankshaft, change oil lots every 500kms lol

  • Hope you don't have to stop in a hurry, insane.

  • brakes, brakes, brakes, hard enough to stop something that heavy with a truck.

  • this would be a great tool in a repo mans aresonal. get in-pop-hook-get the fuck out yup yup

  • LOL WTF

  • Is this for real? wow. I think it would be better if they could use a helicopter and tow the busted cars.

  • haha.. Vag Assistants

  • Good idea but HOW ARE THE BRAKES LOL

  • @Yarder122 even better, what happens when someone stops in front of you in the rain.....wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @Yarder122 There are extra brakes on the rear dolly.

  • ONE WEEK,,that's how long the clutch will last on this mad heap of sweedjunk, and folks will ride this to earn money,????

I think they all must have a screw loose man.

The very first insurance claim from the rider and we will never see this srap on the roads again, ever.

  • It's a invention to solve problems in heavy traffic Such as flats, break downs and whatnot where a wrecker/towtruck can't reach.

It's not intended to replace a conventional towtruck

TO lift a car takes alot of force.. to pull a car on it's wheels doesn't take that much force.. And those bikes have around 100hp..

Don't worry about brakes and such.. It's a swedish invention and the force here doesn't allow sneezing wo a helmet :/

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOO REALLY????

  • WHY NOT?!

  • WHY?!

  • To everyone concerned about the braking, I'm sure that it has brakes in the trailer, which would give it plenty of breaking power.

  • I want to see that thing go up a fucking hill.

  • Thats kool

  • i did not doubt its towing ability, but how about its brakes? surely its under lots of stress

  • good invention

  • that thing must have one realy heavy dutty gearbox and brakes

  • good idea but can a bikes engine handle it. you can tow any car as longs as its in neutrel

  • I didn't see any steep hills, so stopping and starting wasn't a problem. I am also guessing that that was a front wheel drive Volvo since it was being towed from the from.

  • cool but must be slow for towing since the engine is small and weak and takes lots of gearing

  • Small?? its a 6 cylinder 1800 petrol

    with tonnes of torque

It can easily tow a car

  • I believe thats a honda goldwing, which has 120hp and 125 ft-lbs or torque, thats more than enough to tow a car at pretty fast speeds.

  • no doubt about it... Its a goldwing bike! it can take anything!

  • that is awsome

  • I think this is a good idea for when tow trucks get stuck in traffic.. I like it!

  • I recall this from an Invention-paper. The Invention is Swedish and the word"Väg assistans" you can read on the bike means Road assistance.

The idea is that a bike easily can get through to a car that is in the front end of a traffic-jam.

  • Don't try this with a Ural

  • Tow These Nuts!!

  • lmao.. what did u say or meant to say...?? your slang is funny...go drive of a cliff with your tow-motorcycle junker...

  • Stop taking the piss outta' it, mate!

  • Only in America would they diss a good idea because its not American. I'll bet if this video was filmed in the US using a Harley Davidson, you'd say it was awesome...

  • I'm american and I love the idea.

  • where is this???

  • if he falls of the bike he´ll be a dead man..

  • WELL YOU KNOW BRAKING MUST SUCK

  • i've seen this on tv, it is just amazing!!!!

  • HOLY CRAP!

  • Panic stop -

  • LOL, he never stopped.... WTH?

  • Some of the comment on here have- let us say harsh. We use a motor bike as a rapid respons vehicle, to get a man on scene to advise on what equipment is best needed( heavy roll overs ect), if the first vehicle on scene in this case can deal with it, then is better for everyone. And i am sure that trailer has brakes.

  • Thats a great invention, nice and quick through traffic, but i would only use this for clearing cars out of road works to a point of safety, where a tow truck could then take the car on to its destination.

But in Engand they would not allow this, as the towed vehicle can not weigh more than the towing vehicle. anything that can get traffic moving again, gets my vote.

  • When your next stuck in a 4 mile traffic jam, and one of these comes past you heading to the broken down car up front, You will think differently.

Who gives a s**t, even if it's a horse with a tow chain, as long as it move the heep of crap out of the road.

  • nice!

  • Must have strong brakes to slow down with a car, on its rear.

  • ok i fell way to deep into youtube to be watching this goodnight

  • your all just jealous because it doesn't have a V-8

  • If my truck was towed by a gezzerglide(goldwing) i'd shoot myself...

  • the bike is just an 1800cc goldwing. that converts to a 1.8L. that would be the same as towing a car with a geo metro. STUPID!!

  • Most Geo Metros I see have either the 1 Liter or 1.3 Liter engine...

  • I'd hate to have to brake in a hurry doing that... it would add a whole new definition of getting done from behind...

  • Nice! But smart? How long is your transmission gonna last doin' that?

  • Nice idea!! wow!! 10/10

  • Damn, I think this is what I am going to be towing with where I work soon with all the budget cuts the owner has been making lately.

  • saw this once in china

  • to those that are making coments about its braking ability do some reshearch first before making comments about it the trailer has its own brakes linked to the motorcycles brakes. ant it is good for small vehicle. large cars and trucks are out of the ?. any have a good day all

  • very cool
