How long did they use this logo? I get the impression the iris logo had been used earlier, then was brought back again.

I don't know? About early to mid 80s I think. This was before they were branded CTV Toronto.

Something like that. I know the iris logo was there as early as 1969, then they had the 9 logo with "Cable 8" inside in the late 70s.
