Initally i thought she was some kind of ghost. but no. also initally i hated her in this ep, on a gutteral level and i was kinda glad she didn't go with the Doctor in the runaway bride. but now after series 4, I utter love Donna and its kinda cool that she is sort of the 10th doctor's second AND third companion dependin upon how u count it

I first started watching the show when I was in middle school.Rose and the Doctor were like my first example of what True love was supposed to look like. I kept waiting and waitng for the episode they would admit they were in love...I had it all mapped out how they were going to say it and live Happily ever after...and then Doomsday happened and all my dreams as an adolescent were crushed. Kills me every time! :'(

i hate rose. im so glad she left. she was the worst companion in my opinion. i wish the doctor could have fallen in love with martha or donna or even amy. i just hate rose. reasons why martha is better than rose, shes cleverer, nicer, braver, stronger. donna is also all of those things.

@Dynamicfaithfullove I think the reason he didn't tell Rose he loved her was because: A) she knew, just as he knew that she loved him and B) saying it would have made it that much more complicated. The Doctor couldn't have stayed with her nor can he stay with anyone for very long. It would have hurt them both that much more if he had said it. At least this way, Rose could have convinced herself to hate him for not loving her if she had wanted (though she didn't and I'm glad). Just my opinion tho
