Thank you so very much for posting this. I've been searching for this for over ten years. I heard Lennox do this on a morning news show those many years ago and she sang in this soaring soprano which blew me away. Absolutely magical and sublime. Thanks again.

Amazing vocal performance, but I think the synth-heavy arrangement takes a bit away from it. Would love to her her sign it with just an acoustic guitar accompaniment.

There is no soul to this. None at all. Sucked it all out. As much as Paul can fit in one song, its all gone. Sorry, just being honest. I would NOT be able to listen to this everyday, as opposed to the man, Mr. Simon.

"It's apt to confuse me" - apt indeed. I sat listening to this and waiting for Paul Simon's voice to come in on the chorus, all in vain! The accompaniment is, I think, identical to the duet version. This solo version is lovely, but the two voices combined are even better. The lyric-writing skill of Paul Simon I match with that of Randy Newman.

Hey, what that guy said, right on, jeez louise Annie sings this in a higher key than Barbra did in 1974, interesting that she inserts the bridge before the chorus and only sings the chorus once as opposed to three times for Paul, it leans toward being more pensive, I think
