  • hi maria,

just want to tell you that my mum always used milk for making chinese buns.maybe you could try that out and tell me whether it is good?!

    greets from vienna

  • @HappyEndPerson Hi, thank you so much for your suggestion. You are very nice to me, I am very happy. This video was my third videos and was late evening. Making with milk the buns turn to more white colour, I saw my father always make with water so I did the same also my old camera flash light was weak so the buns look yellow :-)

  • can the salad oil for the dough be replaced with olive oil? and can the corn flour be replaced with potato flour?

  • @saphaedra Hi, Yes, you can use olive oil, also potato flour.

  • For the bao did you use plain flour or strong white flour?

  • @saphaedra Hi, I used plain flour .

  • Your video is so clear to teach us how to make a chinese buns! And my bf loves to eat it for breakfast. So you are living in Germany now? me too!

  • Thank you. I am glad you and your bf like it. In which part of germany do you live ?

  • I am living in Bremen. And you? I am from HK, but my bf is German! He likes HK foods, becoz he lived HK before. And some foods we cant buy in here! Thats why I try to make it by myself.

  • @sharonchowrose I live in Hessen around 100 km north eastern of Frankfurt.

Yes, It is not easy to find original HK food in here.

  • i've wanted to try these things ever since i was growing up i always seen them in asian films they look damn good

  • Thank you. I am happy you like my recipe, if you have any question, feel free to ask me.

  • 你個蒸煲同我個一模一樣﹗

    你都係德國呢~

  • 我住在德國, 蒸煲在香港買的

  • I have been a chef for 15 years, and even had the pleasure of living and training in Hong Kong & the Philippines. Props on the excellent vids showing people that "chinese restaurant food" is NOT authentic chinese food. The flavors don't compare to the real thing.

  • Thank you for the kudos! I am glad that you like my videos.

  • i dont understand but i think i get it ;]
