Don't know what it is about some cities that makes them so different from the plain and boring ones... for instance going for a stroll around Buffalo, NY (no I dont live there) isnt very interesting. Its more of a pain in the ass really, especially in cold weather. Theres so many suburbs and lame sights you begin to feel trapped. That feeling goes away when you are in a place like Santa Monica or Rome, IT. it feels so good and exciting almost as if you were playing AC or GTA. at least 4 me :)

SoCal is sweet. LA is a sewer. You will be ripped off in EVERY part of TOURIST LA. You will see hobo's shitting, pissing or even masturbating in downtown and Hollywood. Universal Studios is such a HUGE bunch of overpriced garbage. Simply put, dont waste your money to bring your family to LA. Go to NorCal, San Diego, Orange County even. LA is horrible. The City Govt has lost control and the city is crashing as we speak. The mayor only wants your money so he can NOT take care of the city.

@RambosMirror Trust me, you're better off in Germany. LA has become an absolute shithole. Sad, but very true. Overrun by third world vermin everywhere. Illegals and Black animals alike. Homelessness is rampant. Crime, smog, traffic is all too commonplace. Germany has it's share of problems, especially with those Muslim douche bags, and the Scheiß Türken, but all in all, the quality of life is far better in Germany then this melting pot.

I live in the UK, and over here a lot of our most popular TV programmes originate from the States. Watching american shows makes me want to go there and see what it's actually like. Surely it's tonnes more exciting than boring old England. New York and Cali, two great states. I have got to go and see LA one day!

Sometimes I wonder if people from the States are bored of it themselves, and would rather move here to England. I doubt it, but a lot of people get bored easily... like me.

Everyone once in awhile needs some change and fresh air..No matter where you live in england or US,after awhile you normally get bored & need to see a new diff places..Ca and NY are bigger than some EU coutries.

The weather plays another factor..Sure alot of rain..England is like Seattle..Driving PCH(pacific coast highway)is a unique experience difff weather temperature druning one ride.

Come here ,it is alot of fun...and surely different than Europe...not necessarily better.

Los Angeles is one of the most congested, filthiest cities, most of the nice strips of shops you see are confined to a two mile stretch, the ocean and beaches are filthy and reek of sulfur, and the tourist spots shown in these flicks don't quite show how rude everyone is. Indeed I live here, but if given the chance I would move to England in a heartbeat.
