I imagine they glued those bird's toes to the branch, you can tell they are trying to fly away and none of their toes move... who knows how many animals they killed in the making, just like Ben hur and those old western movies, they used to really throw the horses off the cliffs and break their legs on scenes in which they had to fall... awful, evil stuff... this movie needs to be only remembered with shame...

I bought a theater-used poster for it quite some years back. I also bid on a 16mm print of it a long, long time ago, but was unfortunately outbid. The color of the print was apparently all faded to pink - but there's at least one print out there somewhere.
