Yes, I admit music involves taste but either way you also have to admit Lemar did quite well by giving this song a reflection of his own 'soul'. This is what a artist is about, deliver the emotion of a a song. If you really are into music you would leave behind those 'empty' comments.

Just have a look at the motown artists from the old days and how they reflected their 'soul' in each other's music.

I like it, but I prefer The Darkness version just because it's more emphatic. While he made this into a very much love song, the 80's glam style was a big influence on Metal "love" songs. I have a thing for guitar solos too.
