I guess that you are using Aquacel to pack the wound...and this is the correct way to treat this type of wound. If there is bactera, then Aquacel alone is not enough to kill the bacteria. Manuka honey is perfect to use in combination for cleaning ugly wounds.
keep it clean with warm soapy water dry with clean towal dab it dry ,use somthing like neosporin ,whra the redness is gine continue to use warm soapt water . apply alcohol. then use a lotion with vitamie and aloe.
Gosh... how did you get staph there damn. I had staph on the inside of my elbow and it fucking sucked. cool your moms a nurse? Thats some serious infection. It tunnel into your foot and now you need packing dressings each day.
Is this diabetic ulcer? How did this happen to you? The foot may be able to be saved if its surgically debreded so it can heal from inside out, otherwise it won't heal. The doctor shouldn't wait too long. If doctor ok's, drink a high protein supplement and plenty water. If you have diabetes, try to keep your sugar between 90 and 110 and check before all three meals and avoid sweets until your foot heals. Be careful not to bump foot or put pressure on it, because infection would worsen quick.

Staff infection, it was eating away at her heel. Thankfully, she is now almost fully recovered.
