  • sr. Thank you for the upload of this video. This is true craftsmanship at its best. Love to see work like this done!

  • Hello, can you tell me please some more about your heat treating oven???

  • its art but im broke

  • THAT IS A WORK OF ART!

  • ill stick with my carbon thanks

  • I used to fish plastic, but now I select a rod for the feel it provides as well as the beauty. In my opinion ,as well as in the opinion of my customers, the feel of a well made bamboo rod can't be matched

  • I don't have 2-2500 $ so I'll stick to my Fenwick.

  • The bamboo rod does not cost that much. The fellow asked how much would it cost to buy the equipment to make them. Never the less, the rods cost much more than a fenwick with good reason.

  • how much does the equipment cost

    ?great vid

  • You can get going if you purchase from 2k to 2.5 k worth of tools. The steel form is about $800.00.

  • nice...

  • You could build a 2 strip quad (poor mans quad) for around 100, all you need is the bamboo a flat surface and a plane.

  • Beautiful Art, yes. If you like this video, check out the "How It's Made" clip. It features the best of bamboo rod makers, Tom Dorsey of Thomas & Thomas!

  • BEAUTIFUL ART.

  • Great video!
