Loved these guys---saw them here in London many moons ago!!!! They were also pilots!!!! Gary Weeks retired from music and was assistant pastor at the Calvary Church in Toronto before moving to Ireland to do Missionary work; Dave Beckett became a consultant for the Ministry Of Transportation in their test pilot program and was the flight safety director for Ontario's London Air Show.
Could someone please explain to me! how these guys didnt get the recognition they justly deserve, Gary Weeks voice is as smooth as silk, and such beautiful lyrics, and coming from a small town like Charlottetown PEI, makes me especially proud of both these guys,as i myself am from there. On a positive note it is good to see some listeners from the U.S such as ka1jacob,and cougar1233, who appreciate talent thanx , and please check out my stuff
"AND A FEW THAT REACHED THE STATES" ... Gary and Dave's lone hit in the USA was 'Could You Ever Love Me Again' which just barely made the Hot 100. It was also a one hit wonder in Australia where it reached the Top 10
as far as hits that charted on Billboard you are correct. they did have a few others that were played on CKLW Detroits power AM station. Thanks for the correction, tho.

I think we've lost our sentimentality, sometime between the 1970s and the 2010s. :(

An underrated canadian duo from the early "70's. Who else but Canadians could make "cold winter winds and skidoos" sound romantic?
