I used to be religious once so I understand the complete fear and lack of understanding of Atheism, but it's harder to convince others, I suppose all I can is say this.
People believe that evolution happens in one swift generation; it doesn't, it takes millions. For example, it's a proven fact we all originated from Africa as our first ancestors are african people, does that mean african people should no longer exist? No. Does that mean that african people are primitive? No. Do we still see african people turn into different races. No. All it simply means is that due to climate changes, natural selection played a part when they migrated.
A child inherits half each parent's dna. This dna changes, positive, negative, or no change. When a change happens, it's called mutation. Say, a child is born with a slightly different bone structure which is easier to move with, and grows up to reproduce and manages to pass on with those genes, then that would be a minor change. If a constant change through generations happen, then you may have a completely different bone structure in another million years.
If the change is harmful however eg: A mutation that reduces live span, cripples, impairs, or reduces the amount of mates for the person, then this would be a negative trait which won't be passed onto the newer generation because the person would find it harder to reproduce and pass on their dna. So basically, evolution depends on how a trait survives and if it gets passed on or not.
For example, in ancient China, small and slender women were coveted and only petite women could get married, so hence now if you were to go to China most of the women are petite, but centuries ago, not all of them were. This is a classic example

People believe that evolution happens in one swift generation; it doesn't, it takes millions. For example, it's a proven fact we all originated from Africa as our first ancestors are african people, does that mean african people should no longer exist? No. Does that mean that african people are primitive? No. Do we still see african people turn into different races. No. All it simply means is that due to climate changes, natural selection played a part when they migrated.

A child inherits half each parent's dna. This dna changes, positive, negative, or no change. When a change happens, it's called mutation. Say, a child is born with a slightly different bone structure which is easier to move with, and grows up to reproduce and manages to pass on with those genes, then that would be a minor change. If a constant change through generations happen, then you may have a completely different bone structure in another million years.

If the change is harmful however eg: A mutation that reduces live span, cripples, impairs, or reduces the amount of mates for the person, then this would be a negative trait which won't be passed onto the newer generation because the person would find it harder to reproduce and pass on their dna. So basically, evolution depends on how a trait survives and if it gets passed on or not.

I grew up watching cartoons in bangladesh from cartoon network but not nickelodeon cause i thought nickelodeon was boring. I only learned about Islam from my parents. i think humans did evolve from apes, but I do think it was divine intervention that caused the evolution. Cuz if u leave a ball in the middle of a room, nothing will happen to it unless something causes it to move... but there are still apes because we evolved from a certain species of apes, that's why there are still apes... its as simple as that

@jaga454 Oh I haven't found any arguments against muslim scholars, but i've seen quite a few between Scientists and Christian creationists (who claim to be scholars) and the Christian Creationists in almost every field are very scientifically inaccurate or simply wrong (Look up "Why do people laugh at creationists" by a guy called Thunderf00t, there's at least a couple of hours of creationsts getting their facts wrong or mixed up).
Christian scholars = I have.
Muslim scholars = don't think so.

@fliptoffee You're wrong. It doesn't say Jews are pigs. It does not say anything about "infidels". There is such a thing as a kafr, or non-believer, which is a polytheist or idol-worshiper. It says in the Qur'an (I read it myself) that righteous Jews will go to heaven, as will righteous Christians, and obviously righteous Muslims. After all, Yahweh (Judaism) God (Christianity) and Allah, or God in Arabic are all the same. People think Allah is some kind of different god, but they're wrong.

As an Atheist I don't discredit the possibility of everything in life being engineered by a higher being we don't fully understand. But come on Darwin being a mason is a little far-fetched and i've watched a lot of illuminati videos.
I just think too many religions are too similar and yet so far apart to be "The Truth".
For the record as well, most of the time it's the scientific scholars who win; debates are down to evidence in the end and there's more to back up Evolution than Genesis.
