She's singing her own version of it.

Though clearly:

"Put a stake"

"So awake"

"Tell me why"

"Stay as you lay"

are all far beyond Anette's reach, as it is for the cover bands on YT singing this.

It was a good attempt, and most of it was going well, but the fact that she can't sing the chorus too well is probably why they didn't perform this song in 2009 (I don't they did, at least).

You seem to imply that Anette was responsible for her own acceptance into the band. You cannot seriously think to make that assertion.

It doesn't matter how determined she was. The bottom line is that the choice was not hers to make. The point is that if the band is ruined it's not her fault, nor is it her fault if the band is improved. She didn't come in and start taking over the band, she is not responsible for the band's change of sound or any of its policies. It's not her band.

Anette is good singer, but this song doesn't fit her. It is really too much for her. Too high notes in some parts

@WitchFromHell she is an average singer. She sounds very sweet and nice in slow songs... but in this kind of songs she doesnt know how to control her voice and her technique is really bad. She can't sing songs like Wishmaster, for example, because it's too much for her. She is OK in ballads though...

she shouldn't be in a band like this one.

this song really sucks with anette... i don´t know if you ever hear nightwish before (anetteisgreat), what nightwish is singing now is nearly pop, she can´t sing this song.. it`s too much for her
