its the same for fedex and ups. ive worked for ups for a while and when we gotta load the 18 wheelers, speed is top priority so we gotta throw boxes into the truck because the conveyor belt comes down non-stop and the supervisor comes around every 3-5 minutes to see if we're working our asses off and to yell at us to hurry the shiz up and to load the trucker trailer. I try to place the boxes up safely each time but it just doesnt happen for each box because they emphasize speed as top priority.

I currently work for DHL and I use to work for UPS... Its the unfortunate risk you run when putting your belongings in someone elses hands. Its not the name of the company but the idiots that they hire. Just make sure that you get the insurance on your package if its valuable.

We sell widgets through various online channels. Been using USPS and fairly happy, but disappointed with USPS prices for heavier/larger packages. We noticed DHL was cheaper by far than UPS.Tried them for about 2 weeks. Suddenly we are getting some feedback in amazon, and through email that widgets are broken in several packages. Have had occasional breakage with USPS, but not this bad.We have switched to UPS for bigger packages, and even got a discount for using daily pickup. No DHL for us!

I get 20+ DHL packages a day for work, and far less than one percent even have a scratch on the box. Any that were imperfect (box got wet, usually) were inspected before they were delivered (by DHL), and inspected at delivery (by me). A properly packed box will handle anything short of a long fall onto a corner. If those boxes were prepared right, no issue at all with the contents.

I use to work for DHL. Always check with others who have shipped DHL and get their opinon. Second, when ordering a high value product always have it signature required. Third, when its delivered tell the driver to WAIT til u inspect the package. ( Dont let them fool u cuz that is YOUR OPTION and THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to wait til the customer is SATISFIED)

as a dhl employee, i agree with the guy that says UPS and FedEx do the same thing....because they do. Now, I'm not a one of the drivers that they show in the video, i'm a dockworker. But WE (dockworkers) try our best to take care of stuff. PLUS you'd be shocked how fast these drivers have to rush out the stations to deliver your packages on time.

actually dhl does treat the stuff that badly, because there are infinite reports of how DHL sent their packages broken. DHL is a bunch of dumbfucks literally..never use DHL. I asked a guy how long does it take to ship my stuff with ground service, the dumbfuck says a minimum of 6 days, then i was looking at the DHL site and it says 1-6 days, meaning a maximum of 6 days...what a fuckin idiot. So I called the guy back and told him "FUCK YOUR DEAD FAMILY MEMBERS BITCH" and he hung up
if you look at the boxes as they load them they are all in good shape so that means up onto this point they have been treated well. Also they are speaking spanish, which im not sure if DHL is in mexico (im sure its in spain though) and i really dont care to check but it probably means they are a bunch of mexicans making minimum wage in the US and they just dont give a damn.
Personally I think UPS treats package the worst! FedEx is usually pretty good and DHL isn't as good as FedEx but it's cheap, but you get what you pay for sometimes. Mexico's mail is tampered with a lot a customer told me and stuff comes from the US to the border than may get stolen by some corrupt employee.
I sent two packages from the UK recently, one to Denmark, one to Spain, both via DHL. After two weeks, both packages turned up in SPAIN!!! Wrecked! Took another 6 weeks for DHL to arse about like the useless fuckwits they are before I got FedEx to collect. The remains of the Danish package were back with me within 24 hours. DHL are shit. I've worked for them in the past, I couldn't stand the piss poor staff attitude, no one gives a flying fuck. Fragile? Handle with care? Not a chance.

You are insured, i dont work for DHL but another big firm..
We handle thousands of shipments a day. You get cheap shipping because of cost efficient organisation.. Damage are calculated for cost/efficient.
Dont accept your package if it is damage real bad or make the delivery guy not a delivery damage.
I also feel hurt when i order things and the get treated not to gentle but thats how it is. Good package is working for 99.99% of all the goods..

its the same for fedex and ups. ive worked for ups for a while and when we gotta load the 18 wheelers, speed is top priority so we gotta throw boxes into the truck because the conveyor belt comes down non-stop and the supervisor comes around every 3-5 minutes to see if we're working our asses off and to yell at us to hurry the shiz up and to load the trucker trailer. I try to place the boxes up safely each time but it just doesnt happen for each box because they emphasize speed as top priority.

I currently work for DHL and I use to work for UPS... Its the unfortunate risk you run when putting your belongings in someone elses hands. Its not the name of the company but the idiots that they hire. Just make sure that you get the insurance on your package if its valuable.

We sell widgets through various online channels. Been using USPS and fairly happy, but disappointed with USPS prices for heavier/larger packages. We noticed DHL was cheaper by far than UPS.Tried them for about 2 weeks. Suddenly we are getting some feedback in amazon, and through email that widgets are broken in several packages. Have had occasional breakage with USPS, but not this bad.We have switched to UPS for bigger packages, and even got a discount for using daily pickup. No DHL for us!

well im a learned (with haulier school and many years of workin in this area) forwarding agent and already worked in many companys and as far as i can see they are packages with textiles in it. so no harm for the shpt in this shipments.
and about this "bad DHL" do u realy think that, as long its not an fragile shpt, any other transporter, warehouse worker or receiver will handle this kind of packages any other way? only private clients think its "hard handling"

I get 20+ DHL packages a day for work, and far less than one percent even have a scratch on the box. Any that were imperfect (box got wet, usually) were inspected before they were delivered (by DHL), and inspected at delivery (by me). A properly packed box will handle anything short of a long fall onto a corner. If those boxes were prepared right, no issue at all with the contents.
Get over it.

I use to work for DHL. Always check with others who have shipped DHL and get their opinon. Second, when ordering a high value product always have it signature required. Third, when its delivered tell the driver to WAIT til u inspect the package. ( Dont let them fool u cuz that is YOUR OPTION and THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to wait til the customer is SATISFIED)

dhl gets the freight there faster than any other company. the news did a test. they sent sent packages the same day through dhl, fed ex and ups. dhl got it there faster and no damage. try dhl and you wont be sorry. and you will save money too.

as a dhl employee, i agree with the guy that says UPS and FedEx do the same thing....because they do. Now, I'm not a one of the drivers that they show in the video, i'm a dockworker. But WE (dockworkers) try our best to take care of stuff. PLUS you'd be shocked how fast these drivers have to rush out the stations to deliver your packages on time.

nope, i just ended up ordering something from a company we just happen to have an account with. All in all, it ended up bein convienent, but i get stuff from all over. I havent had a problem with any company yet. Besides, don't think the company isn't taking diciplinary actions, i bet that driver got fired because of this video.

i run a business and ditched dhl real fast, they are the worst company you could ever deal with EVER, they hook you in with excelent rates then pound you with massive surcharges, Zero customer service and zero follow through on complaints, so many cons to using them i could go on all day long,!! hence why im refusing to pay the £2500.00 bill!!. JUST SO YOU KNOW 100% OF CLAIMS GET REJECTED FOR DAMAGES TOO !! EVEN WHEN PROVIDING IMAGES AND ALLOWING THEM TO CHECK DAMAGE IN PERSON !!

These guys sound like they are from India. Well you get what you pay for! That's why UPS's shit is always messed up and crushed! You pay your drivers shity wages they will treat the stuff the same way. It doesn't make it right, but UPS drivers don't care how their stuff is treated, especially the loaders. They don't have to deliver a crushed box that says "fragile" on it, the driver does. I think FedEx is way better than UPS, an d a little better than DHL.

actually dhl does treat the stuff that badly, because there are infinite reports of how DHL sent their packages broken. DHL is a bunch of dumbfucks literally..never use DHL. I asked a guy how long does it take to ship my stuff with ground service, the dumbfuck says a minimum of 6 days, then i was looking at the DHL site and it says 1-6 days, meaning a maximum of 6 days...what a fuckin idiot. So I called the guy back and told him "FUCK YOUR DEAD FAMILY MEMBERS BITCH" and he hung up

if you look at the boxes as they load them they are all in good shape so that means up onto this point they have been treated well. Also they are speaking spanish, which im not sure if DHL is in mexico (im sure its in spain though) and i really dont care to check but it probably means they are a bunch of mexicans making minimum wage in the US and they just dont give a damn.

Personally I think UPS treats package the worst! FedEx is usually pretty good and DHL isn't as good as FedEx but it's cheap, but you get what you pay for sometimes. Mexico's mail is tampered with a lot a customer told me and stuff comes from the US to the border than may get stolen by some corrupt employee.

I sent two packages from the UK recently, one to Denmark, one to Spain, both via DHL. After two weeks, both packages turned up in SPAIN!!! Wrecked! Took another 6 weeks for DHL to arse about like the useless fuckwits they are before I got FedEx to collect. The remains of the Danish package were back with me within 24 hours. DHL are shit. I've worked for them in the past, I couldn't stand the piss poor staff attitude, no one gives a flying fuck. Fragile? Handle with care? Not a chance.
