  • Awesome!

  • 3:25 <3

  • he's not bad this new guy roger's found is he ?

    :D

  • Jeff Beck is one of my fav GODS!

  • so amazing

  • Again very nicely done..all the way around...

  • Not to neglect giving Roger props as well; singing & performing as great as ever. Hard to believe both in their 60's, pretty darn good boys!

  • Jeff Beck YES!!! He is among the greatest guitarist ever! Such a great performance the two of these Rock legends!

  • I really enjoyed this performance! Jeff Beck is an awesome guitarist, and Roger still sings great.

  • Can't help feeling that while Jeff Beck has an incredible level of skill that he doesn't really fit in well with the song or the vocal. RT sounds on great form though.

  • JEFF BECK - MASTER, MASTER, MASTER!

  • Hmm. I love Queen and think Roger's stuff is really underrated. And People Get Ready is a fantastic song. Sorry to say though that I'm unconvinced by this as a performance. Roger's voice has deteriorated, and he wasn't Curtis Mayfield to begin with. Plus the joy of this song is the harmonies; they're missing here.

  • Hi Ernsto! It was really cool! I am always happy to visit your page. Good luck, my friend!

  • So great combination ! Brilliant guitarist Jeff Beck and wonderful drummer and also an excellent singer Roger Taylor. What a beatiful happening!

  • Magnifique....Queen for ever

  • spirit of QUEEN? No there is a bright spirit of the KING (Of the Guitarists) Mr Jeff Beck (what a shape is in..)

  • Ugh, everything about this is beautiful!

  • now that is one amazing guitarist. jeff beck has to be the greatest. always loved rogers voice.

  • just wow

  • SO BEAUTIFUL!

    THANKS A Lººººººººtttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • Exquisite artwork !!

  • ALWAYS SAID, ROGER TALYOR SOUNDS JUST LIKE ROD STEWART...WITH A HIGHER RANGE TOO

  • Man...no one else plays guitar like that! He is on another level.

  • "Drowse" by Roger is great too.

  • kind of rod stewatish...

  • Greatest Singing Drummer!

  • Wonderful match and great performance. I recall Beck & Rod Stewart's 80s single well. Beck makes the guitar sing; and Roger's voice is superb, very similar to Rod's.

  • Of the 600+ shows I've seen....I saw Beck twice. He never fails to amaze me but he does need a supporting cast. It's sad because Rod Stewart was perfect way back then. Beck-ola is still a favorite!

  • @DickLodge68 i have no idea what you mean

  • @DickLodge68 yes Radio Gaga is one of my favorite songs. Rodger is a great songwriter and sounded great backing Freddie. I guess he just dosnt sound great singing this song

  • @FrozenDodoBird Funny you say "Rodger" that only was mentioned on Sheer Heart Attack.

  • @DickLodge68 none of those songs were hits but I guess it's not fair to compare Roger to the late great Freddie Mercury

  • @FrozenDodoBird You profile says you are 13? I was 14 in 1982 when I saw Queen. Radio Gaga was a huge hit! Granted Taylor didn't sing it but he was a major force in the band, vocally and musically.

  • Wonderful, fantastic. Few words.

  • As much as I love queen Roger should still stick to playing drums

  • @FrozenDodoBird I think some of the best Queen songs were either written by or sung by Taylor or both. Take Tenement Funster, In Love with my Car, Rock It (get some of the Prime Jive! ), Radio Gaga...etc. A very underrated drummer for many years. The 1982 show I saw he was thumping on the Tympani like crazy! It was awesome!

  • Fantastic! My two heroes have finally got together!!!!!!!

  • Great song. I would literally shoot the followspotters mind...

  • I am so in love with this!! Roger and Jeff are totally amazing together!!

  • Oh, what a nice melody, somehow romantic.

That`s what I love about Queen.

  • is roger taylor on tour in america with jeff beck?

  • Jeff Beck just kills me every time I see him play. It's simply effortless and natural for him to make the craziest yet sincere sounds. This is one one my favorite songs. Like him or not, Rod Stewart has a great voice for this! But here you have Roger Taylor? A man I grew up listening to - hell, I have "Fun in Space"...and he's reading the lyrics like Obama from a tele-prompter? It just disappointed me that Roger couldn't come out and belt it out.

  • Beck is effortlessly great

  • TY so much for shasring this, I love it :)

  • Por qué Roger no se dedica en serio a hacer su música??tiene tanto talento y una voz particular y hermosa. Me encanta.

  • Maravilloso! Roger Taylor sigue cantando genial y Jeff Beck sigue tocando genial..!

  • This made Freddie smile....

  • wow spotlight guys are havin a hell of a time!

  • May Queen LIVE FOREVER.

  • This is a Memzmorising song.

  • wow, thanks for posting...

  • Heard the cat in Jeff's playing. And Roger should have sung more Queen songs. Respect!

  • Wow!

  • the spirit of QUEEN,alive for ever!thanks my friends!

  • @MrCata789

    DIDO!!

    4EVER!

  • Jeff Beck is magical!

  • Roger has very similar voice to Rod Stuart:) cool!

  • jeje como estan de tiernos!!!

  • !! FANTASTIC !!

    !! AMAZING !!

    ROGER IS THE BEST<3

  • you're amazing Roger <3

  • You still have a really nice voice Roger!

How to give you the desire to go on stage once again with Brian (May)?

Maybe by telling you that your fans want to hear again the good music that only Queen members can do!

Queen was, is and will ALWAYS be the GREATEST BAND in the world!

    God save the Queen! :-)

(excuse me for my English, I'm french)

  • @queenchristel If so, I hope with all my heart that they can persuade John Deacon to perform with them ONE more time, cuz was Queen just as much as Brain, Roger and Freddie!!! I really like Johns style of playing, and he`s kinda cute, hihihi!!!

    QUEEN 4EVER!!!

(oh, and by the way, your english is fine!!)

  • @exoticgirl1 Thank you for your message!

Yes as well as being talented members of Queen are very charming! I agree with you John is a great bassist!

How I would like to see them on stage!

It's hard to be fan and not be able to attend a concert of her idols!

  • @queenchristel Dude, your English is great! No reason to excuse it. Besides, no matter what language you speak... QUEEN ROCKS!

  • @wendizoeykimmy14 Thank you! Yes my friend your right; Queen rocks! I remember a song 'speak any tongue but for god's sake we need

las palabras de amor' and also the Queen music !

  • @queenchristel It's okay...you can be French. I'm American. so I'm waiting for all those insults. Queen truly was the greatest for me anyway. I saw them live in Oakland, CA 1982.

  • @DickLodge68 You saw them! Oh My god! How lucky you are!

  • @queenchristel Hi, yes that was my second concert when I was 14. Almost 30 years ago but I remember it well. Unbelievable light show and they sounded fantastic! It was the Hot Space tour but they mostly played older songs. The Game was my favorite album and one a my fave songs too! If you have "We Will Rock You - Queen Live in Montreal"...that's the same tour I saw. Sadly, that was the last tour Queen did of the United States.

  • @queenchristel Firstly I wanted to like your comment because of what you wrote about Queen.

Than I saw that your sorry for your English, 'cus your French. Now I like your comment because of this :P

  • @DeDvaO Thank you so much for your comments!

    Queen for ever!

  • @queenchristel World take notice ... the French are not all snail freaks Rock on

  • @fokker313 Yes, the french are also lovers of good music, even great music (I talk about Queen)

    ;-)

  • 最高すぎる!!

    ありがとう公式!!

  • ....continued from my last comment....

Especially being as how unique and special a guitarist Brian May is. I woud have thought there would be more pure guitar fans in a Queen fan group.

Just a little surprised. Jeff's one of the best. You should know this guy. It shouldn't be even remotely surprising how good he is.

  • Now..I do realize that this video IS being presented by Queen's video page but I am still quite surprised by the the sparce commenting on Jeff Beck's playing. Clearly the stand out performance in this video is the guitar work. Roger does a decent job on vocals and yes I love him too and the other member of queen as well, but it's shocking to me that a group of Queen fans fail to recognize Jeff Beck;s contribution to this piece.

  • Wow, is the drummer Roger's son Rufus??

  • @sakusohito I wouldn't be surprised if it was ;) lol

  • blue winds/////

  • Wow, I never knew Jeff Beck was this good. It's so musically professional! That's what is called making Electric Guitar a real instrument, damn!

  • Legend's good !!

  • Me encanta...*!!!

  • Curtis Mayfield and Roger Taylor? Two of some of my favorite people!!!

  • Jeff played this song in Edmonton last week, but it was instrumental. I wish Roger would've toured with him xD

  • @highwaycraze I was there, and you're right.

  • Jeff Beck and Roger Taylor, what a combination.

  • Simply awesome!

  • ARTISTI CHE FAN DIVENTARE LA MUSICA : ARTE !!

  • Damn i love his voice so much (':

  • MENINAO PRA VOCE!!!

  • love love love love love <3

  • Потрясающий голос, Роджер!

  • Roger and Freddie were great singers for QUEEN!

  • @Thepomafame So was Brian, IMO. But yeah, I liked how they would mix it up at times.

  • Omg! what a performance by both of these guys !

  • Great voice!

  • Amazing :)

  • I like both versions Roger's and Rod's I love both musicians, but Roggie more, because I'm huge Queen fan :) <3

  • Roger seems a little lost with his drum kit but he smashed the singing part ;)~

  • I always thought Roger's voice sounded about 50% Rod Stewart, 30% David Bowie and 20% Peter Gabriel. However, Rod Stewart's version of this track with Jeff Beck is MUCH better, in my opinion. Rod was and is so comfortable as front man; Roger (who appears to be reading the lyrics) is decidedly not. I love lots of Roger's solo work though.

  • @duhg Well, he's used to singing his own songs, so I guess having to read the lyrics isn't all that strange. He does a great performance in songs like I'm In Love With My Car, Radio Ga Ga or These Are The Days of Our Lives. And honestly, why would he need to be a great frontman with Freddie around? ;)

  • Wow I never knew Roger could sing so well. He kind of sounds like Rod Stewart a bit. Roger you are an awesome song writer and drummer, and now you can add, great singer.

  • @kimosaby1962 Just an FYI. Roger is the one who hits the high "for meeee" in the opera section of Bohemian Rhapsody. He is a fantastic singer. Freddie & Roger together on vocals - priceless.

  • @Yo1969Yo Don't forget Brian. His voice plays an important role in songs such as Flash's Theme and Who Wants to Live Forever. Not to mention Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody to Love aren't complete without the three voices.

  • @Nanerbrasil Very true. Not only Brian's vocals but his excellent songwriting. Then there's Deacon.

  • @Yo1969Yo Who didn't sing but is a great bassist and a surprising songwriter.

  • @Nanerbrasil Wow, you most certainly know your Queen :) I'm impressed

  • OMG this is fantastic

  • It is great and excellent. I enjoy with soul, it!

  • Actually, Curtis Mayfield wrote it, but The Impressions first performed it on the album of the same name. You're lucky this time.

  • @LazouCy Do research. I don't know.

  • my favourite voice in Queen

  • Roger Taylor is a fantastic drummer and songwriter, but I hate it like singer...

  • My Roger,my Man! Haha! I love him so much!

  • Roger Taylor RULES!!!

    and Beck too xD

  • thanks for sharing this roger! if you had more it would be great to see it! thanks for your music!

  • Roger, you still Rocks, lov u <3

  • We looove you!

  • i Saw Freddie's Spirit singing with roger :')

  • OMG, lovelovelove!! :-D

  • Brilliant video this....love the tune, the guitar and Roger's vocal. Everything so right about this. Poor Roger seems to have a toothache though.... carried on like a trooper.

  • @11thhourreprieve He's putting a finger in one ear because he can't hear himself properly. I think he's too quiet from our side as well.

  • @althejazzman A finger in his ear? ooh he wants to be careful he doesn't get earache too :O)

  • @11thhourreprieve Yeah, lots of singers do that, to hear their voice inside their head. It helps for singing in tune.

  • @althejazzman first toothache, then earache... he'll be having a headache next :D

  • @11thhourreprieve lol althejazzman is right ^^ He's just pressing his earpiece firmly into his ear to hear himself better ;)

  • @GamblerBE Aww shucks. And there was me thinking he had toothache. yay all is well :P

  • @11thhourreprieve He might just be listening to himself. If you kind of close of hearing in one ear, you can hear how you sound to other people.

  • @wendizoeykimmy14 lol my tooth ache comment was tongue in cheek. Had I thought so many people would take me seriously I would have said lol at the end. As it was I found it funny to wind people up afterwards for pointing out the obvious... but you know I can't be bothered any more.

  • Jeff Beck really is one of the best guitarists ever, no doubt.

  • @pugontoast

    And one of the loudest.

  • Another great performance by Roger Taylor of Queen.

  • jeff beck's performance seems so effortless...amazing!

  • Uhuuuun,you are great.

  • Roger Taylor absolutely amazing :-D

  • Roger still hot

  • Lovely! :-)

  • wow.

  • Roger Taylor, legend as ever (Y)

  • Jeff Beck is a really nice guitarist

  • Roger is great!
