I'd like to say I'd act differently than the people in this video, but in my city, there's so many homeless people downtown, that you walk past at least a dozen who look like they're in exactly the same shape as this guy.
Thanks to American Criminal and Tort Law any person that was to stop and help this dying man would have the responsibility and duty of his care. By ignoring him they do not have the omission of his care. Don't hate the people that walked by, but HATE America. A HOMELESS man who was stabbed when he rushed to ASSIST a woman being attacked on a New York City street .
Perhaps if he was dressed in full suite he would have received a lot of sympathy and 911 calls would have been made from all around the passers near him. Unfortunately he is another homeless man in New York where you are judged by how you look like.

@iSURFhi58 - Well there is a slight but serious flaw in the second part of your question. WHO created the earth, sky, etc.? That question implies that it was SOMEONE but you don't know WHO. Maybe matter has ALWAYS existed and was not created by any WHO. I find it strange that we can look around and see the earth, sky and stars and KNOW that it exists but some people just can't believe it has ALWAYS existed yet without ANY PROOF of god at all they think he has existed forever. Strange huh?

Go help someone who seems to need it( in this case he did) and get pickpocketed by his buddy. I saw this on GMA this morning those people walking by are dumb as fuck! If I saw somebody laying on the sidewalk, no matter if they're homeless or not, I'll be concerned and try to see what's up. That's a problem with big cities, people under constant stress and they ignore some one else problems, and they try to avoid additional stress. People in big cities turns to be hostile to each other. What happened in this video, would never happen in small New England's town for example, somebody would rescue dying person first thing or would call for help immediately.

Even if the people walking by him thought he was a bum on the streets, whouldnt it seem kind of strange that hes not moving and is near the street. If i was on the streets, id be as close to the building as possible. It makes me sick that people would just walk by and not do anything.
