  • Are those wounds on your hand from firing a pistol?

  • @illustriouschin No!(^0^) Actually, I got burned from the ironing(pressing)... I cooled the area immediately, but I got the wound. (TへT)

  • @JustMiyabi Sorry to hear that Miyabi-san. I will suddenly think about your hand, years from now, out of the blue, and make a frowny face.

  • awesome im a buy this game and play it at the anime club

  • @tobi3098 Is this game sold at the site? (^0^)?

ehe..(^-^) Thanks for watxhing and the comment! <3

  • looks like a tough game to learn! Thanks much!

  • @MANNY100123 for real right? I thought you have to be smart to play Shogi for sure! LOL

  • @MANNY100123 Hahaha. ^0^ I'm glad at least many foreign people know Japanese traditional board game Shōgi and this Dōbutsushōgi through this video! Thanks for watching!

  • wakarimasen deshita :-( muzukashi desu, nee...

  • @ottovoss1 Yeah, it might be a bit difficult for people who don't know original Shōgi! ^-^ Thank you for watching and the comment!

  • Now that looks like an interesting game. Especially like the strategy of using captured pieces against your opponent! Thanks for the vid!

  • @Relatharr Yeah, I agree with you! That we can use captured pieces against the opponent makes this game more enjoyable! ^0^

  • Ora played Shogi and ora enjoyed it.

  • @TruthatCearcie Thank you for the comment! You played Shōgi? Wow! I know the rule is a bit difficult..., right!? ^0^ This Dōbutsu shōgi is easy to ple even small children, so even me could play! Haha! (^0^)♪

  • @JustMiyabi

It was actually fairly easy to learn the basic rules because I play chess, having a good strategy for the original Shōgi has proven to be more elusive, lol.

  • I'm not sure, but I think you could have simply won the game by catching the lion after moving your giraffe to b2 instead of moving your elephant (2:51 on the video) ;)

  • @flieg93 Hahaha! you are right!! ^0^ Actually, this game has a few of confusing rule like I showed at 3:20, and two ways of winning the game: to catch the opponent Lion/to reach to the opponent territory first. I wanted to show them. (I'm wondering if my excuse is acceptable? ^0^ hehe...) Thanks for watching and the comment!

  • So you can use captured pieces. That would make the game either very short or very long depending on the skill of the player. Most chess players would be very annoyed by this rule.

  • @nokomarie1963 Yeah, you can use captured pieces against your opponent! I liked the rule. ^^ My daughter captured many of my animals(pieces) and I had a few, but there is the other way to win. The player who reaches to the opponent territory firster wins....(^0^) So, I won with that way in this video! ^^

  • @JustMiyabi Yes. I watched again and was all for you grabbing your daughter's pieces. But of course you kept your goal in mind and went straight to win.

  • A long time ago I tried to learn how to play shogi, I failed completely xD By the way I loved the music there! :D It was funny.xD

  • @IlMoonlightlI Actually I didn't know proper Shōgi rule. It seems confused! XD But this Dōbutsu Shogi is easy to memorize the rule and enjoyable to play! This is made for even 3 years old kids can play! I think that is great! ^-^

  • @_@ I'm so confused.

  • I wanna see your daughter to see if she looks like you!

  • @AntoneX6 Hahaha! I remember you said you wanted to see my husband too! XD

  • so simple it looks like fun. Have a good week over there! ^^

  • @Mrspiderwalk Thank you very much!! Have a good week, you too!! ヾ(=^▽^=)ノ

  • What a cute game, long time since I played any boardgames, maybe becouse I always loos hehe

The elephants did make it yaaaaiiiih ^_^

Have a great day and week with your family Miyabi san.

Also great to see that it teaches good manners when playing a game.

  • @pekinobo Yeah, it is my reason to recommend this board game that small children can learn to greet to others besides learning a Japanese traditional game Shōgi! ^-^ I also like those cute animals! Take care and have a great week, you too! ^0^

  • What a cute video! Thank you for teaching us how to play Shogi, Miyabi-san!

  • @Jimaera Thank you for the comment!!

  • Thanks! A great video and an interesting way to learn about Shogi. I think Hikarunogo-manga got many young people in Japan interested in go-game. Hopefully this game will make kids want to play real shogi when they are a bit older. This is an easy game that anyone can make at home. I think I'll make my game pieces arrow shaped like in real shogi.

  • @Neropatti Hi thank you very much! Shōgi is a Japanese traditional board game, yeah,it is great for children to learn Shōgi through this Dōbutsushōgi! (^-^)

  • Coooooool

  • @shippalrus Thank you very much! (o^∇^o)ノ
