@G33KN3rd points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygons based on mathematical equations.... in other words no matter how large you magnify them, they will always keep the "smooth" lines and shapes, as opposed to raster graphics (or pixelated) form Photoshop

For those that say this isn't a tutorial have to agree and not agree,

Me being a Illustrator and vector artist myself i can get a good idea of how he does it and it helped me a lot, but for beginners then this isn't a good tutorial for them,

If you took the photo to one side you might get better results. Try using transparencies as well.

I do use transparencies on other styles of work I do. I just felt like doing it this way for this portrait.
