lol ok thats better.. performance wise ,maybe not so much of a difference besides minor hp increase by reducing restriction over h-pipe. But sound wise cats or not you will see a vast improvement. i prefer cats for that smooth tone

I think he meant on the exhaust(mufflers) alone. They don't net much HP. But the intake with it, yeah those give good gains on the s197's.

I just ordered the c&l racer with a custom tune from brenspeed. Those seem to pick up about 25hp with the custom 91 octane tune. Yum!

I just got super 44 on my new 08 GT. The sound blows the doors off any other Flowmaster series. It makes it sound like you got more horsepower under the hood. The only problem is that damn droning at about 1500 to 2000 rpms. The interior gets a little loud. Have to get use to it. Some people love it! I just don't like it when I am talking on my hands free phone. That's how flowmasters are!

i have super 44's on my 01 GT , they sound awesome, and yeah you get the interior drone at 2000 RPM that's what i notice

Super 44's are the hotest mufflers now in days. Flowmater really stepped up a notch. I heard them on a caddilac and it blew me away.

have them on my f150, it seems as i put more miles on it the drone reduces. it is still oud as hell outside the cab though. id definitly go for it, much better sound then magnaflow or some of the others will give you.
