This is definitely Not metalcore, for those saying so. It's close, but it's more a melodic take on hardcore, or melodic hardcore. Apart from the screaming there's really nothing metal about the music. But regardless of the genre, it's a golden song and Hopesfall was quite the band, despite the lineup changes and changing styles. They were most certainly post-hardcore for their last two albums.

I saw this song (among others from the EP) and most of the songs from "Frailty" played live. During the breakdown at the end of the song I swear people were going emotionally crazy and crying because it was so "moving" whatever. That sounds completely gay, but that's how it was. It was the best show I've ever seen. People left the show in silence. It was weird. It's too bad they got rid of their good guitarist and vocalist.
