X6M is awesome. I would drive it down on the beach with my friends. And I would love to see it go competition against the Porsche Cayenne, Range Rove Sport, and Infiniti FX50. Next The Hyundai EQUUS. Not the perfect time to bring it during the tough Economy.Nismo Z kicks alot of ass. But the F-150 SVT Raptor I really hate. Why would they make a gas guzzler. It doesn't deserve to be bought at all. I rather have a standard F-150 or a v6 truck or a diesel truck. Those ones have great MPG.

1) I put 165,000 miles on a ford escort and the only thing beyond oil and filter I had to fix was a throttle position sensor. I put another 20,000 on it after that.

2) They need to fire the idiots who're designing the grills in Ford trucks/vans. They're beyond fugly.

3) I'm still waiting for Ford to put a All Aluminium, 4 valve, turbo V10 in a mustang. It'll might snap transmissions like toothpicks but It'd smoke a viper in the quarter.

BMW engineers used reverse flow heads so that the exhaust ports are directed out into valley where manifolds and turbos reside. Its an interesting arrangement and works well because it solves packaging issues

The Equus is an amazing car and I wish NA consumers weren't so ignorant about the quality and craftmanship of Hyundai's new generation cars. I'll let you in on a secret, I have been to Korea multiple times, have been in many older Equus models. This is a car thats selling for the equivalent of over $125000 USD in Korea (they can do this because Koreans KNOW how good Korean cars are). Needless to say its an amazing piece of machinery that may put cars like the Lexus LS460 to shame.

Dude ur stuck in the past and obviously dunno much about the scene. Although I like the old school stuff, the newer designs are much more effective and lighter. For instance the newer 6.8L SOHC 3-valve V10 blocks are lighter than the old 351. I'm pretty sure it'll have more than 400ft/lb of torque, enough to make a short bed fly.

The Evo has a 2.0L MIVEC I4 turbocharged/intercooled, not an H4. I think you may have the Subaru WRX STi specs confused with the Bishi. Your Jetta doesn't have 'more power' than a 5.0l V-8. It just provides a more exhilarating/responsive driving experience than an SUV.

Emissions and reliability are the two main factors. As you'll probably find out with your Jetta, once you upgrade one part for performance purposes it places more stress/wear/tear on other parts of the car. Performance parts are typically designed towards maximum efficiency and not necessarily longevity. That means more maintenance and upgrades....it's a vicious circle...

You just can't compare the power band of a turbo charged 4cyl to a big displacement V8. The smaller engine may be faster in a compact car, but the V8 pulls harder thanks to its low-end torque. Obviously the engineers at SVT know what they're doing, and if they are building a rock-climbing truck they need to focus on torque instead of horsepower. A tuned 5.4 can easily hit 450+ ft/lb of torque at 1500-2000 RPMs, I wanna see an EVO or 1.8L Econobox do that.

1) 1USmpg=1.2UKmpg so 30USmpg is about 36UKmpg, 2) US people drive bigger cars 2.4-3.5L is the average engine size for family cars in US rather than 2L in UK or even EU. 3) everything is automatic, so that takes 2-3mpgs off already. 4) US doesn't have a big diesel market at all.

so from 60mpg(imp) goes down to 36 just like that. mainly because of US demands more in size.

If you are ever to going to buy an S5, I do not recommend it because it's obsolete. From what I heard, it only has a standard quattro system which is good, but not very thrilling and it's got massive thirsty DETUNED 4.2 V8, (I hate detuned engine) which delivers 350 hp which is pathetic for a 4.2.

The new S4 has a smaller V6 producing 333 bhp and returnes much better fuel economy, but best of all, it has an electronic diffs which make is much more agile than any other Audi.

The new B8 S4 is heavily RWD biased. With the press of buttons on the dashboard, you can set the behaviour of the car to understeer, oversteer or to be neutral.

Many reviews have stated that it is the best handling Audi so far. Its new AWD is along with GT-R's and MitsuEVO10's (lol) one of the most advanced. It nicely reduce the understeer and it's easy to get the car sideways.

I hope you have better luck on your F150 than we did. We bought a maroon F150 in the mid 90's as a workhorse on our mango farm.

Within 8 months it slowly changed color and became purplish. Ford resprayed it with much apologies, but it was downhill from there.

In 2 years time, the rear suspension "gave up," engine bits started to conk out, and it was just a terrible investment.

Granted it was doing hard labor at the farm, my dad just sold it at a loss, and went back to the old FJ40.

i think the raptor is cool and i love off road trucks. but i think the Jeep Rubicon makes alot more sense. Not that many people drive off road like Baha drivers. Almost all off roaders drive less than 10 mph off road. im kinda curious to see the Raptor compete in off roading challenges against a Rubicon and a Land Rover.
