  • You ain't getting my blood BITCHES!!!!!!

  • I first gave when I was 17 y.o., and since donated 61 times; now I'm almost 59 y.o. I take good care of my body. Anyone who needs blood will be safe with my blood. God Bless them and you, dear reader and me please in desperate times of need.

  • I gave blood today for the first time and it's amazing how quickly my body adapted. I clearly didn't need that half a pint, so why not give it to someone who does? GIVE BLOOD :D

  • @shesaid because I don't care about them? Only reason I;m commenting is because at work they have these blood drive trucks that come in and nag us to donate. I have O- so they keep looking at me like im lunch or something. I don't like that and it pisses me off when I repeatedly tell a STRANGER no you are not sticking anything in me and bleeding me. I don't trust them, the needles and I don't want my anything going to strangers.

  • @ubermisogynist - Your "anything" goes to strangers routinely in work that you do for a company (or the goverment, for whom most of us work), in the money that pays for others' electricity, gas, roads, and in your time. Not wanting your "anything" going to strangers makes not one bit of sense. Every day of your life, a part of you goes towards the community you live in and by extension the USA. You don't want needles sticking in you, fine, but you live in society like it or not.

  • this guilt trip stuff is bullshit. It's my fucking blood. If it was in us to give, we would have natural hook ups on our wrists.

  • @101101101777 It's exactly this attitude which has ruined any remaining sense of community in the Un-United States. This nation was founded and built by people working together for the common good NOT in isolation. If the person who wrote this post were in a bad accident and needed blood from someone else, his selfish, libertarian attitude would undoubtedly change in a hurry.

  • @ScottEssman I don't live in u.s. not that I have ever seen unification from there. If I got hurt and lost blood? I don't know. I don't want some contamination so I live on but live worse. I would rather someone bring me food, medicine, drink that wasn't hospital food medicine or drink so I could heal faster.

  • @101101101777 you sir, are fucking retarded. blood goes through crazy amounts of tests before it can enter another human being. also, you cannot give blood if you have any blood-transmitted diseases, good day.

  • @amazingdrummerboy I don't care what test it's been through(you are implying humans can never err),also the idea of having a strangers blood(or any body fluid) is disgusting. I don't personally know anyone who has ever needed a blood transfusion

  • @ScottEssman You ever heard of Jehovah witnesses? As for the Un-United States it's always been like that. I don't care about people outside myself, family, friends and co-workers. I don't expect anything from a stranger and they shouldn't expect anything from me. They may be born on the same landmass and speak the same language but that's about it. I don't donate blood because I choose not to if I get in accident & die so be it. Also what does libertarian have to do with anything?

  • @ubermisogynist - What a crock. Those people you don't care about are paying for your streelights, your roads, your police, your firemen, etc. etc. You live in a community, not on an island. These people who you don't care about outside of family-friends-coworkers are helping you stay alive. You are lucky to be in a community. If you don't already know this, you are in total denial. Which is the exact definition of a libertarian - a denial of community. Idiotic.

  • @ScottEssman The Libertarian comment confuses me. So are you against individual liberty? The right to make your own decisions and not have the government dictating what you can or can't do? I suppose you would want Obama to mandate blood donations. The day that happens is the day I renounce my citizenship and leave to free country

  • @ubermisogynist - I am not against individual liberties UNLESS they interfere with the community I live in which is called a country. You don't have the right to make your own decisions in times of war when there is a draft or when the government takes taxes out of your paycheck to bail out failed banks, do you? Of course not. Total liberty does not work in a country. It is impossible. If you don't want to donate blood, or donate taxes for our needs, you are just a taker.

  • @101101101777 looks like @ScottEssman didn't mention the nerve damage cases from donating blood.

  • @ubermisogynist - LOL.

  • @ScottEssman not sure what's funny, but that's exactly why i wouldn't donate. Why would I want the chance to save someone who annoys me?

  • @ubermisogynist - You save people who "annoy" you every minute of every hour of every day of your life - it's called a state hospital. You really need to emigrate to an island on which you can grow your own food and live off of the land all by yourself. A true libertarian.
