have you actually tried to contact your local representative about either the bailout or the stimulus? I did.  THEY DON'T CARE. It's all about them and their lobbyists and the people have no say in it. Congress got a 9% approval rating and many of them were reelected, it smells fishy. Most of the stimulus is pork. They sold it on "creating American jobs" yet they want to outsource. If you want to be sensational, please let us know how we the people can get Congress to listen.

Having the government do nothing is exactly what President Hoover did in his 1929 term and look what that led to. It was only after Roosevelt got elected in '33 and started working for proactive relief and recovery that the economy started showing some signs of improvement.

Learn some history before making a fool of yourself.
