I think I'm going to pass on I Love You, Beth Cooper. Chris Columbus is terrible, he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. I heard Easy Rider is pretty great, I'll probably check that out soon. If you like old movies, you should watch Suddenly, Last Summer, the one from 1959. I just watched it today, it's a bit weird and shocking for a movie of that time, but I liked it anyway :)
I agree about Chris Columbus, Way over-rated. I don't know how he's made it this far. The first two Harry Potter movies were pretty much a waste of time. A boring director can kill a film, as he does.
easy rider is a GREAt film. You are right about that ending. The trip scene is aweful. But the part that just breaks my heart is the very end. Not trying to spoiler the movie for anyone, but I've never seen any movie that drove home what senseless killing really is like that one.
Badlands is one of my all-time favorites. :)
Ironically, so is True Romance.
