  • At the beggining of the video... whats on over the glass??

  • @bluraymen Hi, Thank you for your comment. In this video, I am cleaning the optical tool. I had used it to grind the mirror and I wanted to remove all of the grit from the grinding operations before making the pitch lap in order to avoid contamination when I polish. If the pitch was contaminated, I might get scrartches on the final surface, which I do not want.

  • On spontaneous combustion.Shouldn't you have an airtight metal container to keep the rags in until they can be disposed of safely? No air no fire.

  • Once again, these vids are great! Keep up the good work, and I hope to thank you in person for helping with my first mirror at Stellafane this year!

  • Hello my dear Francis, I am happy, to see their willingness to disclose the method of preparation of polidora tool for youth who dared to build their own telescope.

    Here in Brazil is not easy for a beginner run ATM similar task. All literature is in English or Spanish, a serious barrier in understanding the distance. Temos's Atm that respond to our appeal, but the distances are enormous for a more efficient communication.

    Congratulations;

  • Very interesting, and I'm glad I discovered your videos.
