open up your rolls on the snare, and dont double bounce the rolls on the timpani. other than that, wonderful job.

It says the Auditions were on November 1st, yet it says you posted the video on October 30th... Weird

yeah, i recorded the video two days before the audition, to try and capture my playing at the quality with which i would be auditioning.

Work on your rolls on snare so they don't too buzzy (If they're marked like that on the music, disregard this), and don't double the timpani rolls.
omg your really good
when i was in band i had a marimba solo and the teacher was so proud of me
haha that was like in 7th grade now im in 11th

haha good job! i can hear mr. lyon talking during the timpani solo, though. when did you record this?
louisrk 3 years ago
i recorded it the day we did our final sectionals, after everyone left
Nice job! That snare piece looked really hard. I mean, i dont play percussion, but it still looked super hard.
See you at regionals!

overall very good
Some constructive ideas;
Try to move around when playing marimba (as opposed to just standing in one place and reaching out with your arms)
Double rolls on timpani? (at least thats what it looks like on the video) If they're marked that way, fine, but if not, go single.
