R35 is available in both RHD and LHD .

  • because everyone is a dumbass saying the veyron is the best car made. it's the fastest car made, well not really anymore, but it is also the most expensive to repair, which you'll be doing alot of, as you would with most european cars. the veyron isn't that great, it looks like ass and isn't the fastest production car anymore which is the only thing it had going for it in the first place.

  • I hope that you know that W16.4 is made to be driven and hold the 1001hp that the car produces. Unlike, for an example a Skyline BNR-34 (Yes BNR, it is the exact model code, google it), you have to completely redo the engine. Forge everything, redo fuel, huge turbo, more than likely stroke it to the 2.8ltr (or keep the RB26) to make a 1000 hp. Now go and drive it day to day and watch it start to blow quickly. The W16.4 is made to withstand the HP and use of driving for years and years.

  • In general... you wouldn't be driving anything with 1000whp as your daily driver. As it so happens I own a 300zx with 589whp and its a pain in the ass to drive everyday. The SSC is not meant to be a daily driver, even though it has the ability to be. The RB's and the SR where never made for 1000whp; they were made for the 300whp that are put out.

  • Ok. True. I do have to rethink of what I said. I do admit that I have watched the Top Gear episode with the Yellow R33. With proper supporting mods to engine, clutch, transmission and drive train you can support that high of HP. I myself wouldn't recommend that because of how much it can cost to replace something if it does give out, but yes you can do that. My point for the first post was to make comparison of an engine that makes that power stock vs upgraded. But, I do agree with you though.

  • I agree in terms of looks and the legendary performance, but the new GTR is better than the R32-34 in every way except for its heavier weight. It's faster, more powerful, with less turbo lag, better fuel economy, higher top speed, faster transmission, better handling, and better road-holding. The looks are pretty poor though. I'd rather have an R34 with the VR38DETT and the R35's trans. Best of both worlds.

  • I love it every time the R35 loses to one of the previous generations. I wish they had left it at R34. Carlos Ghosn doesn't give a SHIT about racing like the old Nissan did in the 90s, before he took over.

    First the Z33 and now this. Sure, he saved the company from bankruptcy.. but is it even the same company anymore? I hope they don't try to bring back the 240sx/silvia either.. they've done enough damage already.

    An engine is an engine, any engine can be modified the same as any other just some make power more cheaply and efficiently. Its impossible to make it "not upgradeable" as you said without making it a throwaway item that could never be fixed either if it was damaged.

V-spec is a specific model of the skyline series where it differs to the normal R34 by having slotted rotors, Rear diffuser and a different aero kit.   • Ok I'm agreeing with RXHardstyle here. Arsenal, you are retarded. No, the GTR was not made to compete with an SLR Mclaren. The SLR Mclaren is a supercar. The GTR simply isn't, there's no way around it. The GTR was made to compete with the 911 Turbo which also has an AWD platform and a twin turbo 6. The SLR has a supercharged V8, is RWD, and will do 200+ mph. The Gallardo may be a close competitor but it's still faster and still different. It has a V10 and is made to do 200+ also.

  • The GTR is a suoer car, it goes 0-100km/h in 3.3 seocnds, faster than the SLR, the SLR can do a max of 207 miles er hour, the GTR can do 196 miles, the SLR has higher top speed, the GTR has better acceleration, the Gallardo does around 198 miles, not 200, its not that fast and there is no need to mention that the GTR beated all of those cars in the Nurburgring in lap time, so dont mes with the GTR, you suck,.

  • If you're talking about displacement then there is only a 1.7 liter difference. The difference is you can make a Corvette similar to the SSC that can also reach 250 or so

    I'm not into the whole lets build the fastest car in the world. Mclaren did it accidently with their F1 and look at its abilities on the circuit and domination in racing

    The Veyron is nice because of its advancement and it can be driven daily in comfort

  • First off, the SSC only has a V8, not a large engine like you say. Second, how is an overweight supercar like the Veyron a phenomenon? The standard F1 achieves 550 hp/ton. Compared with the Veyron at 530.2 hp/ton, and the SSC Ultimate Aero TT with an alleged 1003 hp/ton. Sure, it's got a quad turboed W16.. but it only beat the F1's top speed by 4mph... the F1 is N/A. Funny how that works eh? If I were you I would find another car to fall back on when shit hits the fan.

    It was tested just like a VW golf (cold weather, altitude, etc.) which means it can be an everyday car.

  • The purpose to put 4 little turbos instead of 2 huges ones or even 1 enormous one is to have a huge torque at very low revs, no turbo lag at all and less inertia when you slow down...

    The GTR accelerates faster than the SLR, it runs the Nürburgring Nordschleife faster than the SLR (by nearly 14 seconds). The SLR has slightly higher top speed. The Gallardo is nearly 20 seconds slower around Nordschleife than the GTR.

    So, the GTR has a smaller engine than either the SLR or the Gallardo and beats them both. Too bad.

  • that r35 time you are talking about was for the stock car. even in this video the car was in its early stages of development so the mines being a older more seasoned car would be faster because of its years of development. the current amuse phantom gtr which is the car in the video in its current evolution has 600hp and revised suspension and would or i think should be faster than the mines r34 around tsukuba.

  • actually if you listen closely you can hear the driver clicking the gear shifter paddles. Listen to closely and realize that the shift timing isnt that much off from ferrari's shift times with paddle shifters.

  • you can cleary see a difference in the line the cars go through in a corner, the mines r 34 has much sharper turn in most probably due to its weight advantage, while the r35 has to rely much more on a smooth turning radius and its awd system, there might be a difference in tire compound and driver preference but overall the r34 looked like the car to beat here

  • VR38DETT, is 3.8L much bigger than 2.6L which is the RB26DETT. Would be nice if it was a straight 6 rather than V6 but there would be a reason they changed that part.

  • Actually the Mine's R34 is not fully tuned. Only thing that has been touched is the ECU, suspension, and light engine work. Mine's mission with their cars is that it improves on the factory car by making it more responsive rather than making it a horsepower rocket.
