  • man i love how your mushrooms look healthy mine refuses to open up like yours... just wondering what kind of lighting do you use and any tips of how to make them happy?

    thanks

  • Ours do the same... we have the same mushrooms too.. Funny! They rub on them so much that the mushrooms have bumps now!

  • watermelon mushrooms

  • He's looking for whats under the mushrooms hahahaha!

  • I am not sure what species the mushrooms are. They are actually pink and green color.

  • @dvst8z i believe theyre green striped discomas. thats rad dude, i wish mine would do that!! its funny how he peeks out

  • @dvst8z I purchased a 55gal with sup pump off of Craiglist over a month ago everything was GREAT. had a nice assortment of Polyps and Mushroom. NOW, after the light which the dude I bought it from had taped and tried to repair BLEW and I started getting shocked after I removed the light and went with a lower intesity Coralife T5. My Polyps and Mushrooms started dying MIND you I had to rearrange the tank. I hope too much handling ... anyhoo I have another T5 10,000k 26 watt acitinic WHATYATHINK?

  • @dvst8z SO what I'm asking is will my Polyps and Mushrooms regenerate or are the GONE? Because right now they look pretty FUCT!

  • what kind of mushrooms r those they seem to be blue and they look really nice or is it just the way they look under ur light and on camera?

  • all he needs for his fort is a sign that says heman women haters club no girls alowed...then he will have and awesome mushroom fort :)

  • @jhunt1229 "mushrom fort" YESS

  • So cute how it's trying to dig into them. Nice video!

  • Yeah, they look pretty funny when they are trying to do this. Since I took this video, they have started and stopped doing this. It seems to just be an occasional event. I am thinking that natural instincts may be the cause?

  • Yes i'm sure it's because they have their natural instinct to host something so they will "live" and not be eaten by something (as in the wild). My clowns host the corner of my fish tank:) ...if that's possible!

  • Yeah, I have an anemone in my tank as well but, it is a BTA. I have heard that clowns will not host btas.

  • BTAs are the most common anemones for clowns to host... im surprised that it didn't start hosting the anemone instead lol

  • depends what kind of clown. the time it takes them to host can be from the night of it coming in to months

  • @dvst8z No, BTA are actrually what most false perculas will host, and others... But mushrooms? lol

  • Well your clownfish is hosting the mushroom already? do you have a anemone in your fish tank?
