  • Just what this country needs: Two American hating marxist in The White House. And this reporter can barely contain herself. She is getting all excited. God help us make it though the first 4 years of this stupid little man child.

  • michelle is the real life cruella de vill

  • she does cloths impersonations of monroe, kennedy etc too.

  • Cut taxes for the working class; raise taxes for the wealthiest Americans and corporations. Give health insurance to the 47 million Americans without it. Increase funding for education, healthcare, and wind/solar energy; decrease funding for unnecessary wars. Equality 4 women, gays and lesbians, and racial minorities. Respect immigrants' rights. Celebrate Black/White/Asian/Latino/Native diversity, not the overwhelming whiteness of the Republican Nat'l Convention. GOD BLESS THE NEW AMERICA!!!!!!!

  • michelle obama is an angry black woman who is about to become even angrier after she finds out that the american people do not want her in the white house.she would be the worst 1st lady in history!

  • For the fool that had the extra time on her hands to e-mail me her nice comment..> If the truth hurts too bad. Obama should stick to actual precise issues and add some substance to his speeches. I have yet to hear a speech by Obama where he states EXACTLY what he would like to accomplish. I am sick of hearing about hope and change. We get it Obama will bring change to the country hopefully it will be positive and there are a lot of his supporters who have hope he will be President move on.

  • Think Twice, McCain.

It would be a big mistake for McCain to disrespect this important time in American history by announcing his VP choice too soon after Obama's acceptance speech.

He must realize that this nomination is much bigger than Obama. This nomination is in fact a testament as to how far America has come in regards to race relations. If McCain pisses on this moment in American history, it will be unforgivable.

  • Ted kennedy killed a woman by drowning her and the democrats embrace him. what a fucked up bunch of people. Ted is about to receive justice in a few months

  • It is great to see all the young people so excited - on both sides (left and right). I do wish both sides would keep the debate civil and focus on issues. If you want to get different takes on race relations - read both sides. I'm conservative - maybe because of age - (ref: the Winston Churchill quote about liberals and conservatives and the age relationship). I would suggest reading 'Black Rednecks and White Liberals' by Thomas Sowell. Mr. Sowell represents the issues with facts. God Bless!

  • Michelle rocked the speech.

I can't wait to see Cindy McCain speak. ;)

"Well, I grew up rich with every advantage, and then I screwed around with John until he ditched his crippled first wife, then I bought his political career for him. We live lives of mind-numbing privilege, and we think the economy is just spiffy! Why do poor people complain all the time! I have to go now, we are deciding which of our vacation homes to jet to for the weekend. Vote for John! Tee Hee"

  • Either yesterday or the day before, Cindy McCain was sent to Georgia (not the state) on a humanitarian mission. (maybe to share her personal drug collection with the wounded.) I bet her husband (of the "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt." quote fame) is praying that the Russians kill her --by accident of course-- because then he'll get a big sympathy vote AND a reasons to nuke Moscow if he gets elected.

  • Racial History?? You better check the fact the Republic fought Slavery!! Ignorant!!

  • race does not exsist. people are equal.

  • um... meanwhile back in reality.

it would be nice if all were treated equally & cultural/racial divides were not exploited but it is the reality of this country & the world.

you have to face it to challenge it.

  • I agree. Race should not be an issue. The problem is that there are too many people that like to stir the pot of racial tensions in an effort to keep it alive. It is almost a given that no matter who wins, people are going to take it from a racial aspect instead of and electorial aspect.

  • Barack Obama 08 yes we can I'm getting chills.

  • You know it continues to surprise me that the Obama campaign "claims" that they don't want to inject race as an issue but yet their supporters always interject it. I guess they figure they don't have to since people like this so called journalist will do it for them. If Obama wants to use race as an issue he should at least own it. There is nothing wrong with beign A.A., Hispanic, or any race but run with it. Be proud of it. Don't try say one thing and do another.

  • well, McCain says he would never question Obama's patriotism yet he has surrogates running ads saying he approves of domestic terrorism because he knows Ayers. So don't be all superior.

  • Technically, He is the first mulatto pres. His mother id ultra white, how come we cant come to terms with that word"mulatto"? Hey folksguess what? He isn't black!!!!

  • sorry but that is not how United States racial politics work. That is just how it is, don't try to change it now in the last quarter of the game.

  • If his father is black then he is black...it doesn't matter that his mother is white.

  • uh, no. the law which defined blacks in the US was called the "one drop rule" -- if someone could identify having one drop of black blood, then they were legally black.

what white folks don't know is how many 'black' folks moved to other parts of the country and began to 'pass,' to live as white folks because if they stayed in their home location, everyone knew who had any black relatives. as a result, there are a LOT of white folks out there who have no idea that they might be black!

  • "Celebration with Altitude"? Really? Is that what the organizers came up with?

I'm thinking the GOP will spin that crappy title to "Celebration with Attitude" as they use every synomyn & insinuation for "uppity" they can come up with.

  • I wonder if the Plastic surgeons walking advertisement, Cindy McMoneybags will have the same level of scrutiny and vetting leveled upon her? Oh wait, thats right, Cindy doesn't pose the threat of being "uppity".

  • Good thoughts. I'm going to have to look her columns/blog posts up.

  • The Obama family worked their way up from the gutter...American dream!

  • P: Once one gets beyond around 3rd cousins they're pretty much not family. You and I could be 14th cousins, but that doesn't make me and idiot!

  • R: Same response for you as was for Pocket.

  • I wish I could be there!!
