Please tell us more about the power supply being used. Is it a transformer producing 20,000Volts ? Is the final output AC or DC? If DC, please provide details of the rectification system.
As you pointed out the asymmetry is *not* the polarity but the mechanical layout. so the "ion wind" always flows from the wire to the foil, regardless of the polarity of your power supply. The only thing changing with polarity is that the ions are either positively charged (when the wire is connected to the positive terminal) or negatively charged.
I would like for you to place various items between the lifter that would show if there is or is not an airflow, such as a child's pinwheel. If you put an operating pinwheel that you show to be working between the operating lifter and the table and it does not spin, I will consider that there may be a gravity well or mass effect.
Now, if you can put a battery, power supply, and servo radio receiver on the lifter itself so it's not tethered to the ground, you'll have something practical...

Cool videos and a interesting channel. I have done a few experiments myself with lifters and high voltage. I uploaded a video of a Lifter running, filmed with a Schlieren setup and the airflow around and between the electrodes is obvious. That being said, an idea on how you could do the vacuum test: What if you had a really small version of the lifter that you could fit underneath a bell jar? I don't have an air pump or a HV source to try it myself, but I can't imagine you'd have to put a full size lifter into a MB sized vacuum chamber to do a meaningful test...

Sorry, but some faulty logic here. One should not expect that by reversing the polarity of the HV power supply leads that the lifter should then be driven down. The direction of thrust is dictated by the physical arrangement of the electrodes. No matter which polarity is used, many more ions are produced around the fine wire where the electric field is most intense. These ions are accelerated downward towards the second electrode. The lifting force is just Newton's action-reaction law at work.

The force is due to electrostatic attraction of the cathode for the Andod, so or course it works in vacuum. I run these with Lithum ion battery power, and the TT Brown saucers I built in the 1990s work even when sealed in plastic bags. Proving that airflow is not the source of the unidirectional force.

We even sealed up 3-foot sheet metal TT Brown flying saucers in plastic in 2000 in Nevada, and they flew BACKWARDS. Jean Louis Naudin even sealed an UNCONNECTED LIFTER in a box, and the cathode skirt flew up to meet the anode wire. Vacuum tests have been conducted over the past 60 years to today in many countries and institutions using millions of dollars worh of equipment,successfully.

@UnderManiac My name is Otto Belden and I have been doing some experiments with 'lifters' I recently made a Lifter and ran it, photographing it with a Schlieren photography setup. It is clear from the video that I posted that there is significant airflow (not anti-gravity waves!) between the electrodes. You can check it out on my youtube channel if you are interested.

I saw the 'NASA test vid' you linked and the mythbusters episode about this, and I'm more likely to believe people who bust myths than anything from "Gravitec Inc"!
That being said, an idea on how you could do the vacuum test: What if you had a really small version of the lifter that you could fit underneath a bell jar? I don't have an air pump or a HV source to try it myself, but I can't imagine you'd have to put a full size lifter into a MB sized vacuum chamber to do a meaningful test...

@ASIANPRIDE50 Lol I was being sarcastic. Be sure to verify it's assembly CAREFULLY (you should know where it goes!), before introducing high voltage. It's dangerous, and if you don't do it properly, you could hurt yourself. You'd be better off having the string holding it up in the air if you didn't know what you were doing lol. (Check other vids, there are more detailed instructions, happy building!). And don't breathe in the ozone from it, it's not good for you!

The only question is:
Are those numerous tinfoil lifters driven by just voltage and not current amount (amperage)? If so, one can use a Joule Thief modification to power it, and maybe with proper shape configuration it can lift the JT circuit too.

Sorry, but some faulty logic here. One should not expect that by reversing the polarity of the HV power supply leads that the lifter should then be driven down. The direction of thrust is dictated by the physical arrangement of the electrodes. No matter which polarity is used, many more ions are produced around the fine wire where the electric field is most intense. These ions are accelerated downward towards the second electrode. The lifting force is just Newton's action-reaction law at work.

@thewii552 John Fiala confirmed that my 3-foot Beamship Variation I does indeed function and fly in hard vacuum. The force is due to electrostatic attraction of the cathode for the Andod, so or course it works in vacuum. I run these with Lithum ion battery power, and the TT Brown saucers I built in the 1990s work even when sealed in plastic bags. Proving that airflow is not the source of the unidirectional force.

The foils lift up towards the anode wires as the Voltage is turned up. Its clear the lift comes from the FOIL cathodes. Also look at the UNCONNECTED lifter in a sealed box on JLN Labs website. The foil cathode lifts up toward the anode wire. Higher the Voltage,geater is the attraction. Read SUBQUANTUM KINETICS, by PA LaViolette.

@thewii552 Air currents are too weak to cause lift on the devices by at least 3 orders of magnitude. We even sealed up 3-foot sheet metal TT Brown flying saucers in plastic in 2000 in Nevada, and they flew BACKWARDS. Jean Louis Naudin even sealed an UNCONNECTED LIFTER in a box, and the cathode skirt flew up to meet the anode wire. Vacuum tests have been conducted over the past 60 years to today in many countries and institutions using millions of dollars worh of equipment,successfully.

@LReminds It works more efficiently in vacuum, you can turn the current way down without the coronal leakage found in air, and the force is the same or ggreater. The force is approximately exponential with increasing Voltage. As tested all over the world since the 1940s to the Ealy 21st Century. @seansalvador1 Plenty of proof it works in hard vacuum, including proof from 1959, at GE Space Center at King of Prussia, PA, 2 miles from me. Now its Lockheed Martin Space. Modern experiments such as Purdue University, US ARMY, NASA, Woodward, Takaaki Musha from Japan showed at the AIAA meeting in 2007 its indeed more efficient in vacuum. Electrogravitics is the most powerful and efficient form of propulsion known to the US Military.

In a vacuum, the lifter works temporarily due to metal outgassing but returns to the ground after a few minutes after this is exhausted.

"We're not negating gravity, we're creating a gravity low pressure zone." Wait, what? This is caused by metal out-gassing and a flow of charged air ions downward, and has nothing to do with gravity. Newton's Third Law of Motion says the lifter will go up. The polarity doesn't matter, it has to do with the fact that the foil and wire are different sizes, creating electric fields of different densities. If you turn it upside-down, it won't work.

@bohnerbob, it amazes me how skeptics hate to do research! these lifters were even proven on the mythbusters show, the reason they don't fly away is they are held down by threads that are hard to see. only1egg claims no ion wind however NASA proved that both effects exist and is far stronger in air than vacuum! just search for the vid "lifter test in vacuum by NASA" I used an old style TT Brown capacitor made out of foam and adhesive foil in a plastic bag(to stop ion wind)the force is too weak!!

I have also of my own accord uncovered Paul LaViolette's entire scam operaton he calls his "Starburst foundation" and documented all supporting evidence I found. There is no evidence that any sort of "electrogravitic effect" is even physically possible let alone present.

@Beamshipcaptain The nasa tests would have picked up the artificial gravitational field if one was present. We do have insturments for measuring gravity. They are so precise that they can pick up the gravitational pull of the human body and since humans dont have a strong enough pull to draw in a lifter any force strong enough to do that would make those instruments go fucking nuts. And again You still have yet to so much as deny the money trail that I have pointed out about Paul Laviolette.

Furthermore many of the pictures of Paul at places like seti on the site are photo shopped. And before you say no they are not... I can prove this. Look at the pixel resolution of paul and look at the pixel resolution of the background. They are different. That only happens when two different pictures at two different resolutions are put together.

He did not even try to explain how it was supposed to work. My guess is that he saw a textbook spinning-cone diagram with various resolved-force arrows on it and assumed that some of them meant that there was a real (rather than fictitious) force in that direction.
