the thing i dont get is the fact that disabled people are conisidered lower than drug addicts, when disabled people never asked for the condition in the first place.

i get picked on at school just for taking medication for my disablities.

i dont get it, we have to take medication to BE like ordenary people, and we still get the shit kicked out of us.

People are scared of things they don't understand.  I get picked on for wearing boots all the time when I have to due to my weak ankles. Its petty, and it sucks... I totally agree. Just remember its society that needs to change, not you. Be proud of who you are.

My son recently became disabled and one of the first things he noticed was how people react to him. Since he is a teenager he finds the "looks" disturbing. My son is still getting use to asking for assistance in certain circumstances.
