sorry to say but their is a possibility that versus 13 will come to the 360. the fact of the matter is that FF13 on the 360 has already sold 1.5 million copies and that alone just proves that any FF game that square puts on the 360 will sell incredibly well. yes the ps3 version has sold about 3.2 million copies worldwide but that's including Japan which sold 2 million on ps3 but the point is that on 360 it sold 1.5 million in the U.S and in Europe alone and FF13 has only been out for 28 days.
If FF13 on the 360 managed to sell 1.5 million copies in the U.S and in the PAL regions in just 28 days then their is no doubt that FFversus13 will be on the 360 because of how much money square made with FF13 on the 360 so I wouldn't be surprised if they announced at this year's E3 that Versus13 will be on the 360. hell square confirmed that they have plans on developing FFXIII-2 for both 360 and ps3. they said that the only way they will develop FFXIII-2 is if FF13 sells over a million
so I really wouldn't be surprised if FFVS13 goes multiplat. think about it if FFXIII made Square Enix millions of dollars not just on ps3 but on the 360 why wouldn't they want to release FFVS13 on the 360 when they know they can also make millions of dollars releasing FFVS13 on 360 ? I saw the demo gameplay of this game and it doesn't impressed me. Versus is the game I'm looking forward to now so I have to buy a ps3. I will have both FF games on PS3.. but 360 will only have FFXIII with multiple discs and some half-assed developed games like Star Ocean 4, TLR and IU. Tales of Vesperia is coming to PS3 with an expanded version (new character, full voice script, new cave, online side-quests)... and DVD discs don't have any support of DTS 7.1.. it sounds like last-gen garbage.

MGS4 sold over 3 million copies. Kojima was justified in keeping it an exclusive and he may have control over the way this IP is handled.
This is not to say that the title wont get ported, but its likely that it wont unless given to another team. Chances are this is the same reason that FFXIII Versus is still exclusive to the PS3.

Ever since Enix merged with Square in April of 2003 ALL Square games have not been as legendary or as absorbing as before. Before the merge it was Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts= CLASSIC. After the merge it was FF X-2, 11 and 12 and KH2= NOT AS GOOD. The games suck so Sony really didn't lose anything.

Sorry I don't mean to insult you, just a question, why would you buy the PS3 just for FF13? The cost of all gaming consoles including the PS3 goes down every 3 - 6 months and the anncouncement that FF13 is going to Xbox 360 too was on July 15, 2008 when the actual game isn't coming out until some time in 2009. Clearly you'd buy the PS3 on the same day as FF13's release if you were really only buying it for that one game.
I bought it becouse it come out as a 40GB version, so waited from release day to make sure there was no problems with it, but as in waiting for the PS3 FFXIII box set, your right but i allso use it as a Blue Ray player so was a good time for me to get it. As a BlueRay player it is still one of the best players on the market, as it's softwere is upgraded via the internet. No problem mate, you did not upset me ^.^

FF13 Versus will be the better game. The turn based FF combat was alrite in the 90's but now we expect more so have fun with your boring ass turn based shit. Why is WoW so popular, because it has real time combat. Also 360 has no exciting exclusive other than Gears which looks virtually the same game. Also LBP is history in the making. Also Home will demolish your Mii copy cat and also Killzone 2 will demolish Halo in graphics and gameplay. PS3 lost a shitty exclusive title, not its #1 title

they are initially making it one ps3 (blu-ray) and the 360 version will probably have multiple disc's; square doesnt do anything to a lower than maximum quality.

from what ive heard, square enix always wanted final fantasy 13 on both the ps3 and 360. you know why? because they plan to release two SEPERATE FINAL FANTASY 13'S and i dont mean Final Fantasy versus 13 either. square says that the 360 will get a full final fantasy 13 game, and the ps3 will get a full 360 game that takes place BEFORE the events in Final Fantasy 13 on the ps3. the game itself is so epic and huge they have to release it on two different consoles to tell the entire story.

I don't have a problem with it coming to the 360, but I hate the fact that they introduced it ONLY at the Microsoft conference. I mean, Sony fans are the people that are loyal to the FF franchise, so they should have at least shown it at the Sony conference first. It just doesn't set right with me.

Ever since Enix merged with Square in April of 2003 ALL Square games have not been as legendary or as absorbing as before. Before the merge it was Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts= CLASSIC. After the merge it was FF X-2, 11 and 12 and KH2= NOT AS GOOD. The games suck so Sony really didn't lose anything.

Hello, I just agreed to the fact that 13 will be on PS3 as well. and also, don't call me a fanboy. I refuse to take part in this silly, stupid, console war. I chose 360 because it fit my tastes better and i could afford it. I'm not gonna be a part of some "war" that's just people arguing for the system they bought against the one they didn't. I cant beleave i bought a PS3 just for this game and now it is coming to 360. Will have to get it now for the 360 as i want the Achievements so much but if both versions end up with diferent DLC then im going to get both, as this is my reason for gaming and Final Fantasy is just the best games ever ^^

Sorry I don't mean to insult you, just a question, why would you buy the PS3 just for FF13? The cost of all gaming consoles including the PS3 goes down every 3 - 6 months and the anncouncement that FF13 is going to Xbox 360 too was on July 15, 2008 when the actual game isn't coming out until some time in 2009. Clearly you'd buy the PS3 on the same day as FF13's release if you were really only buying it for that one game.

I bought it becouse it come out as a 40GB version, so waited from release day to make sure there was no problems with it, but as in waiting for the PS3 FFXIII box set, your right but i allso use it as a Blue Ray player so was a good time for me to get it. As a BlueRay player it is still one of the best players on the market, as it's softwere is upgraded via the internet. No problem mate, you did not upset me ^.^

FF13 Versus will be the better game. The turn based FF combat was alrite in the 90's but now we expect more so have fun with your boring ass turn based shit. Why is WoW so popular, because it has real time combat. Also 360 has no exciting exclusive other than Gears which looks virtually the same game. Also LBP is history in the making. Also Home will demolish your Mii copy cat and also Killzone 2 will demolish Halo in graphics and gameplay. PS3 lost a shitty exclusive title, not its #1 title

Well then I'm disappointed; Blu-Ray has far more capacity for a bigger, more detailed and entertaining game.
I feel that if the games are identical on both systems, Square-Enix have made a big mistake as a solely PS3 version could have been much, much longer.
I think the decision is ultimately a financial one for Square-Enix, but at a detriment to the quality of the series.

from what ive heard, square enix always wanted final fantasy 13 on both the ps3 and 360. you know why? because they plan to release two SEPERATE FINAL FANTASY 13'S and i dont mean Final Fantasy versus 13 either. square says that the 360 will get a full final fantasy 13 game, and the ps3 will get a full 360 game that takes place BEFORE the events in Final Fantasy 13 on the ps3. the game itself is so epic and huge they have to release it on two different consoles to tell the entire story.
