and thats a mask and then in another layer under the masked clip add the backgroud ^^ hope that helps

this amv is awesome!!!! can someone tell me how to chroma key to get results as shown in this video?? .. for example.. those with white borders at 2:24.. It seems like I cannot get a good chroma keying no matter how much I try .. (obviously without green screen..)

I dont really think you'll get an effect as good as that using chroma key. your best bet is to mask then copy the masked clip and but it on a track behind the first and use the glow effect to get the white line.

I thought of that.. but seems so much work... and there are many videos in which they use longer tracks .. is that really the best way??... or maybe an easier way to mask... because I use sony vegas and it is a really slow process :S ... Thanks a tons tho ^^

lolz i use sony vegas as well ^^

but yeah masking really is the only way to go and it does take a long time and its takes forever but you get the best result withs it :P

The trick is to pick good clips which fit but doesnt involve much movement. its usually a lot easier to mask that way.

and yes there are some people who mask incredibly long difficult clips but at the end of the day its about how much effort your willing to put into your project ^^
