  • Yay, vegans! I love this diet.

  • Comment removed

  • @BladeElison wow, you are a complete moron congrats!

  • @rindotheraven i know. i just realized that two days ago. was a time ago i saw that one.

  • @BladeElison Unless you fell a sleep or watched the wrong film. IMDB the film and stand corrected.

  • such an mistake just tells me its time to watch it again. sry.

    whatever

  • vegan till the day i die.

  • @titsnass123 Which means about 85.7 years, good luck!.

  • woody harrelson biggest pot head ever!<3

  • The Simpsons said:

you dont win friends with salad

you dont win friends with salad

you dont win friends with salad

    Haha!

  • vegans...go eat a leaf and leave us the heck alone

  • @TheSwampcritter You realize you've posted this on a video about a vegan actor, right? How about you leave US alone?

  • Zombies like eating flesh and so do I.

All this crap about "ENERGY", you know what else gives you energy? speed. And is speed good for you?

  • @CanadiaNecro1 No one was talking about speed. Don't mention things that have nothing to do with the situation. No one's even telling you to stop eating "flesh" anyways, so why are you bashing us?

  • @sharpiexox I'm not bashing anybody. I am bashing an idea that I think is silly. I have no problems with this man, if he likes salad he can eat salad.

  • @CanadiaNecro1 Well it kinda offends us.. especially when people call it stupid..

  • Being a vegan gives you SOOO much more energy :] I love it.

  • @sharpiexox exuse my ignorance but what is exactly being vegan its like vegetarian?

  • @MegaChulo69 Vegetarian = no meat

Vegan = no animal products at ALL.

    I'm Vegannnn wooo

  • @xMatthewxOceanx If you don't understand Veganism, it is best not to give advice :-)

  • @truth2748 He got it right. I don't understand why you're criticizing him.

  • @synthetickat If you are referring to the one that was trying to explain Veganism as a diet, then no, he got it totally wrong.

  • @truth2748 Ohhhh okay. Well I think that the word "diet" applies, in the sense that one could have a "vegan diet" or a "omnivore diet" or a "lacto-ovo diet", but it doesn't necessarily mean that they're attempting to lose weight, rather it's just their eating regimen.

  • @synthetickat There is no such a thing as a Vegan diet, but a Vegan lifestyle. You can not be Vegan for any other reason except the ethical one. If you don't consume animals or animal by products for any other reason, you can call yourself whatever you want, you just can not call yourself a Vegan.

  • @truth2748 You see what you've done here? You've demonstrated the exact reason why people despise self-righteous vegetarians and vegans.

Someone that doesn't eat meat is a vegetarian. It doesn't matter if it's for health issues, moral issues, or whatever the reason may be. The same goes for one that doesn't ingest ANY animal product, or use their products (leather, etc.) It doesn't matter what the reason is, so long as they don't use them.

(I've continued my message as a reply to this one.)

  • @synthetickat What if someone simply didn't enjoy any animal products as food? What if they found the appearance of animal skins or products grotesque?

The fact of the matter is, not everyone is a vegetarian or vegan for ethical reasons. If you want to characterize it, realize you are doing so for your own personal definition and not for the dictionary definition. Minimizing harm is admirable, but why chase others away from the cause simply because they're doing it for a different reason?

  • @synthetickat Someone that doesn't eat flesh is called a vegetarian, if they don't eat any animal products they simply are on a plant based diet. You can not hijack a word that stands for so much more. I'm not talking semantics here, Veganism does not have anything to do with nutrition or dieting. The founder clearly explained, it is not up for interpretation, this is not the bible. I don't care what people think, if the join the cause, it must be for the right reasons.

  • @synthetickat This is not my personal characterization. Veganism= "The praxis of abolishing speciesism from our lives, the avoidance of animal exploitation, the realization that we may succumb to our anthropocentric behavior". Donald Watson founder of the Vegan Society, and the man who coined the word. Now go on and do and say what you want, this is what we in the Vegan society know to be the truth.

  • @truth2748 Feel free to respond to my personal message, I feel it would be easier if you did so there, rather than here, as it breaks up the messages into separate ones.

Do keep in mind one thing: In your little "society", if you have no room for anyone else, you will die out and nobody will remember you. I'm a vegan, and I have omnivore friends, and friends that enjoy meat so much I'd call them carnivores. Do I judge them? God no. That's their choice. It sucks, but that's THEIR CHOICE.

  • @synthetickat I don't encourage anyone to isolate themselves, we are not misanthropes by any means. However, it is our duty to divulge the cause and help guide the lost into an evolution that must, if we want to continue to sustain our way of life.

  • @truth2748 What on earth do you mean? Vegetables will never be ruled out of our diets, nor grains, nor soy, etc. There is no sustenance to worry about here; these things are commonplace in all societies, including our fast food western society. I think you're worrying far too much about what mainstream omnivores choose to eat.

  • @synthetickat I was referring to global warming, deforestation, recent warnings from the CDC among others in regards to devastating animal born diseases, just to name a few.

  • @synthetickat I don't want to be too pessimistic, but I wanted to add that there may be Inevitable viruses that may end it all, specially the way we eat and see animals as a source of food. The CDC 2008 report, "It is Inevitable that in the next decade or two we will see an animal born viral pandemic that may surpass the devastation created by those in the 19th and 20th century".

  • @synthetickat I just wanted to add that my little society has 3.5 million members, and growing-as reported by the last internal survey. Now, to educate the other 7 plus million confused Vegans.

  • @truth2748 Thank you for demonstrating my point. By calling us "confused vegans" you sound like a self-righteous, condescending twat. Thanks for yelling your battle cry so loudly and clearly, us normal, lovely, everyday vegans will thank you for warning us of impending proselytizing coming from your direction.

  • @synthetickat I'm truly sorry you feel that way and have interpreted my comments this way. Perhaps a deep seeded personal issue such us an underlying inferiority complex may be your problem. You have resorted to personal insults, unfortunately expected when intelligent discourse can't be had. You just fell to that place where all other insensitive and unintelligent youtubers go.

  • @synthetickat I'm now truly worried that the other heavy minds that troll youtube will now be equally offended and negate from discovering the truth. Sarcasm of course. This is obviously not the place nor the forum to educate the like. I should have known this. Good Luck to you.

  • @truth2748 By the way, you don't need to write me the same message here, as you do there. If you require a lesson in "How to use YouTube" then I'm sure you'll find it under the help section.

I feel I've made my points loud and clear. I won't be responding again, and if you choose to, then I'm happy I've managed to somehow wrap you around my little finger via dialogue and discussion. Let's make a game of it, and see how long you'll keep on responding. Us "confused vegans" will enjoy it. =P Ta ta

  • @synthetickat PETA's Senior Vice President MaryBeth Sweetland is the one that uses insulin, not Newkirk, although completely irrelevant. I suggest you get your information from reliable sources and not google or youtube, it's just embarrassing. I know you are not a Vegan and never were, you use the same ridiculous tactics as the other Vegan haters. I'm not threaten by you, you are too common and uncultured to ever get to me. Hence your reaction, I guess I did hit a nerve ending.

  • @truth2748 I am indeed a vegan, and you are indeed my little puppet. Let's see if I can keep you responding for an entire week. Shouldn't be too difficult, seeing as how your behavior and attitude is that of a cult member that requires a leader to dictate to you.

  • @synthetickat Can you two woman stop blowing up the comment section with your argument? It's funny how you both try to sound smart in an attempt to make the other one think "whoa this guy means business." This is why they made the personal message, so that you don't have a full blown conversation in the COMMENT section.

  • @KPY33 Nope. Bye!

  • @synthetickat Get a job if you're that bored, a real one, or a relationship -- a real one.

  • @revdrmartincisneros I have both. Now kindly fuck off, cunt. =D

  • @revdrmartincisneros LOL, I couldn't have said it better.

  • @synthetickat In explaining what Veganism really is, somehow I've become morally superior?. The Vegan and animal rights movement are very clear about the fact that Veganism is not a diet. It is very sad that western countries such as the US have turn it into the latest fad. The conversation is over what to eat and not to eat, and not avoiding animal exploitation, which was the intention of the founding father.

  • @xMatthewxOceanx thanx for answering my question i can respect that i like fruits and vegetables but i also love meat so i couldnt be vegan

  • @MegaChulo69 Vegetarianism is a diet and Veganism is a lifestyle, a belief, although it affects what you eat, it has nothing to do with diet or nutrition. Veganism is the praxis of abolishing the suffering of all sentient beings as well as our anthropocentric lifestyle.

  • @truth2748 yo cool i can dig the non suffering part and the abolishing of our anthropocentric lifestyle since it is causing global problems and it is destroying other species but there are other ones like the farm cow who wouldnt exist in nature without men i think its more about being responsable as the human raze instead of changing your diet or little things but i respect others opinions and i thank you for shareing yours with me

  • @MegaChulo69 Cows would exist just fine, all they need is a little sun and grass, they are very efficient animals. And if you are so worried about them, just don't eat them ;-). The UN among many other scientist says, going Vegetarian is the number one thing YOU can do to reduce global Warming.

  • @MegaChulo69 Being a vegan is like a vegetarian except no animal products what so ever like no eggs, milk, even honey.

  • lol it totally looked like he was looking for snipers xD best show in late nite

  • @Roughneck8 It is a heightened sense of awareness, a mind and body that is free from the encumbrance of toxins, he truly is indicative of the Vegan condition. A very freeing and rich state of mind that elevates the spirit to a new plateau.

  • @truth2748

...man...all I said is he did look as if he was watching out for snipers. Get the fuck outta here. No one cares. I said nothing about being a vegan.

  • @Roughneck8 Somebody needs a prozac refill.

  • @MissXNinaX1994

I tried to message you, but it says your account is closed. If you see this comment, message me. I'm a vegan, and I'd be happy to help you become one.

  • To the people below, i don't go around promoting beef and pultry shoving it in people's faces. i don't castigate people for not eating steak sandwiches; and i would never diss someone for being a fucking broccoli-head, or living off of radishes, or eating grass or tofu. i like a lot of vegan cuisine. but the illogicality of expecting everyone to adopt their particular idea of what being healthy is is just preposterous.
  • hey i want to go vegan but i dont know how to get started can anyone msg me with some tips? thank you x

  • @MissXNinaX1994 If you like, you may visit our channel to know more about veganism and related articles.

  • Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink a lot of water. Simple.

  • @MissXNinaX1994 Start with LOVE, love is all you need.

  • one of my favorite actors.

  • Vegans must continue to guide our fellow humans away from anthropocentrism, and continue the praxis of abolishing speciesism from our lives.

  • I've got nothing against vegetarians, but it really doesn't help anything. It doesn't affect animal abuse whatsoever. Meat is good to eat and if you're one of those people who is against animal suffering just don't buy meat from the grocery store- go hunting and shoot a dear. It's a quick death and the meat lasts for a long time, plus you can use the fur and other body parts. I hate trophy hunters but hunting and using the body is something I think everyone should do. No animal suffering there.

  • @Sunderland4745 I understand by your comment you are not well read nor have much world experience, but such a blunt assertion is really embarrassing even for youtube.

  • Veganism is the praxis of abolishing anthropocentrism from our lives.

  • MEAT MEAT MEAT MEAT VEGETABLES STINK boo vegans......dumb tree huggers

  • an interesting fact about woody, his father was a hitman for the mafia, and was the 1st person in America to assasinate a federal judge.

  • @Epimpin101 Is that true? that is interesting!

  • Veganism is the praxis of abolishing speciesism from our lives.

  • i got so ill as a vegan .. my partner was a big rugby player type .. i turned him vegan which made him really ill too. I think it has to match your lifestyle!! We were foresters and did tough physical work.. i think as an actor it might be easier..

  • @Fraterculae:

The problem is not being active as a vegan -- it's getting the nutrients and energy your body needs (and can process, not everyone can digest the same foods as well as their neighbour).

There are plenty of hardcore athletes who are vegan, including Olympians, Mixed Martial Artists, triathletes, weight lifters, etc.

  • @NineInchSamusAran Athletes are very different to normal people though .. and established actors. Plus I lived in a cold climate. Vegan in cornwall was easy, in the north of scotland it was suicidal. I had ducks laying eggs on my doorstep and otters leaving freshly killed fish at the shore and i still wouldnt touch anything non vegan. i was daft.

  • The mistake most people make is thinking that removing meat and dairy from their diet will be healthy by itself, which it won't be. Your body will go into shock when you suddenly have a large part of your nutrition removed. It takes more effort to find nutritious vegan meals due to societal influences in favour of factory farmed meat products.

My suggestion is to find a set of quick meals which provide for all of your nutritional needs, and then eat those meals while reducing meat intake.

  • @Fraterculae:

Actors often go for 12+ hours a day, for weeks on end. It can be a very physically taxing profession. Also tight deadlines and schedules can lead to much rushing around and spending your time in new locales.

If anything, being an actor is a very hard profession for being a vegan!

  • @Fraterculae:

As for tree planting, it's hard physical labour -- the same stuff people around the planet who don't often eat meat do.

Much of the world gets by on basics like rice, beans and basic vegetables, with meat being a rare treat. Incidentally, this is how meat has been consumed throughout history -- a rare treat, not a staple.

Remember that meat production is expensive. It is perceived as cheap due to huge government agriculture subsidies for crops the factory farms use as feed.

  • @Fraterculae:

My recommendation for success with veganism is to make a list of nutritious and high energy vegan meals which you can replace meat meals with a few times per week. Go from there, and listen to your body -- it knows what nutrition is missing.

  • Some examples of easily prepared vegan meals I eat:

Vegetables stir fried in olive oil, spices and herbs + brown rice + well cooked beans (refried, canned or dried) + fruit as desert.

Burger w/ minimally processed ingredients (e.g. tempeh or bean+veggie) w/ olive oil, mushrooms, onions + a toasted multigrain bun + non-toxic condiments + lettuce + tomato + sliced avacado + sliced pickle.

Snacks... fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, dark chocolate, Japanese rice crackers, whole grain bagels, etc.

  • @NineInchSamusAran i am allergic to all grains now after having relied on them too much as a vegan. Bear in mind i was tree planting in freezing temperatures.. working well beyond 14 hours each day. The worlds vegan poor are generally in warm countries with close knit communities .. not the competitive west. There was a community there in scotland but they didnt warm to vegans !! vegans are very disliked in britain.

  • @NineInchSamusAran The only lifelong/from birth vegans i know with vegan parents are very spindly and weak .. everso frightened of everything and rather psychic. It does make you very spiritual. I was unable to stand up to meat eaters at all as a vegan .. seriously outcompeted .. i think if 60% of humanity became vegan they would become the servants to the meat eaters .. erm, as happens in the east in fact. in tibet the monks are vegetarian, the lamas eat meat.

  • @Fraterculae it depends on what you used to eat, as a vegan. Carl Lewis was vegan during his trainings (still is, i assume).

  • @ShoyuTofu Thankyou yes, .. so nice to find someone polite about veganism!! I loved being vegan, but digesting complex grains and beans was so hard for my guts when i was working really hard in a very cold climate. I just became too ill to keep going, despite lots of effort to combine foods well. I consider it a waste of my life which made me very ill even though i delighted in being cruelty minimal and had great spiritual highs..

  • @Fraterculae Yes, it might be difficult to organize a balanced diet. Some good ideas would have been to soak your beans in water for a whole night before you cooked them , and to chew the complex grains for a longer time before you swallowed them.anyway , i'm not a doctor , and i don't know what exactly you ate and what is your health condition. So you're back to vegetarian now ?

  • @ShoyuTofu We did lots of preparation, cooking grains in Wakame .. soaking , fermenting etc .. we really worked at it .. which not everyone can take the time to do!!

And boy did we chew!! to the degree that my dentist (head of dental assoc) said that health food types always have very worn down teeth... :( I got so ill that i eventually went back to full omnivore diet .. very little meat though. Now i am unsure how to go.. i believe in veganism but i like to be able to work in remote areas

  • @Fraterculae wow , first time i hear of someone who was vegan and then took to eating meat o_O Whatever floats your boat is ok to me , but you just can say it's because it's impossible to cook when you're in a foreign country. Come on ! lol . As for the illnesses , i also have my idea of your situation , but then you could think i really want you to go back to vegan , which is only up to you.

  • @ShoyuTofu you can' T say it's because you can't cook in a foreign country. sorry i misspelled

  • @ShoyuTofu I am just watching a bunch of gulls pecking another to death here .. its so depressing, nature is enormously cruel at times. (The roof is not accessible by the way.. i am just stuck here watching). I know plenty of vegans who went back to meat eating BTW

  • @Fraterculae I now realize that you were never a Vegan, but someone discontent with her life. You're trying to justify the murder of innocent sentient beings to appease your own consciousness and satisfy your gluttony. You can be a Vegan anywhere and you know it. Your comments are not fruitful and will not change the average Vegan's mind. If you truly were once a Vegan, you are now a lost soul.

  • @truth2748 gluttony .. a deeper ecological conscience which will not import food long distances to cold climates ? will cope with the odd bit of biodegradeable leather rather than endless plastic which is deeply damaging to the planet .. self righteousness is not so much of a virtue as you think. Love compassion and ecological realism are vital to preserve what we have left of this biosphere.

  • @Fraterculae I don't use any plastic in my household. I make my own clothes(mostly hemp and cotton). I can grow just about anything in cold climate, unless you are talking about Antarctica. That is why humans are smart enough to move to warmer climates. This argument is futile.

  • that is great if you can avoid plastic .. so hard to do here .. only the biggest sacks of food are free of plastic .. and all fresh things are wrapped. Tahini, shoyu, soy, nuts, everything has plastics in the packaging. Even from the hugest wholesaler .. great niche you have .. And you work full time and have a family?

  • @Fraterculae I grow my own food, no plastic in my soil last time I checked. Also for those that do go to that place called the supermarket, all the plastic in the World does not compare to the amount of destruction created by the factory farm machine.

  • @truth2748 that is amazing if you can grow enough protein for yourself. I could grow veg and potatoes and even corn under cover .. but no way i could avoid buying sacks of rice and beans and nuts .. and these all came in plastic. Plus i couldnt afford to be full time at this. My vegan friends who moved to california are able to be healthy vegan home grown.. guess you migrate to where it works.

  • @truth2748 Thats funny. Of course i was vegan .. and only became dissatisfied when my health suffered.. and when i felt i was an environmental hypocrite. Anyway the basic thrust of a religious life is a dissatisfaction with this life the way it is and a yearning for something more whole.. compassionate etc. Veganism ruined my life in ordinary terms..

  • @Fraterculae I feel sorry that you failed at something so natural and easy. You are among the few. In this day an age many continue to thrive and discover Veganism and stay Vegan. New statistics show more and more Vegans are popping up everywhere. You are unique indeed.

  • @truth2748 It is not actually natural or straightforward as you know! Have you succesfully raised a family of healthy vegan children in the modern western world? This is a valid question as i am a woman and i know literally dozens of women who became ill during pregnancy, or left the diet at that time .. and the rest are childless. It is easy to convert young women to veganism as they are kind and loving .. but to ensure this is a healthy diet within the time constraints of modern living ...

  • @Fraterculae Again you seem to know everyone that has failed at Veganism, perhaps you all went to the same school of ignorance. You happen to know so many and can offer so many stories, please spare me the BS. My Vegan children are very healthy, thanks for asking, and so are the other thousands of Vegan children growing healthy in the US and UK. And with no chances of catching a disease from consuming animal flesh.

  • @truth2748 It is simply the truth that i have encountered .. not BS as you politely put it. that is great if you are all thriving. Really inspiring. The children at the vegan gatherings here were not in great shape.. it was hard to tell if this was due to mental or physical factors.

  • @Fraterculae Veganism is very natural, since human physiology is that of a frugivorous ape. Of course, this is now common knowledge among our noted scientific community.

  • @truth2748 My friends are top evolutionary biologists in the UK who would disagree vigorously. So i am not being exactly foolish. The theory that cooking was the defining aspect of human evolution is quite good. Lots of articles around about that just now as you know. There was never a vegan race of homo sapiens, you know that. Australopethicus was a veggie species long died out. You must have access to very different knowledge which perhaps i am missing through being with top level mainstream.

  • @truth2748 If you know of succesfull families in the west who have are second or third generation vegan, that would be fascinating research, The research i have read says that veganism works if you were a healthy omnivore in childhood. I found it to be a blissful monastic diet .. but lost my nerve when it came to recommending it to people with families and demanding lives. And i would not guilt meat eaters because the modern world sadly relies on them.

  • @Fraterculae I don't guilt meat eaters, it is their choice to be unhealthy and be part of the slow but sure destruction of the planet we live in. Just as it is my choice to be healthy and not buy into the common cultist lifestyle of the rest.

  • @truth2748 Hunter gatherers and nomads are extraordinarily fit and healthy ( i mean incredibly so).. i think you refer more to modern produced meats. Some of these guys have the deepest respect for and understanding of natural life. My grandparents were fit and healthy into their late 80's and late 90's My parents have never been ill . (all were fitter than i am now after my vegan period to be honest)

  • @Fraterculae I have read a few dreadful articles suggesting humans are designed vegetarian .. with really glaring omissions. You know that bushmen are quite able to eat rotting meat, they are adapted now to eat it if they need to without illness. They see it as respectfully using what nature leaves. I would love to see good vegan origin articles if you know them. I can run them past some of the top human evolutionary biologists if you think they are valid. I would love tobe open minded on this.

  • @truth2748 The jains involved in research and business have done so out of a sense of realism .. a need to come up with chemical alternatives to animal products etc. I respect that. I also respect monks and would find it simple to be a monk myself. Its no challenge to achieve bliss as a monk. But if you feel it is healthy to have a family? Do you have a partner and have raised vegan children?

  • @Fraterculae No, nature is NOT cruel, humans are. But you would know this if you were once a Vegan. Predatory animals must kill to eat. Humans, in contrast, have a choice; they need not eat meat to survive. Humans differ from nonhuman animals in being capable of conceiving of, and acting in accordance with, a system of morals; therefore, we cannot seek moral guidance or precedent from nonhuman animals.

  • @truth2748 Nature, the big overarching beastie .. involves much suffering built into the structure of natural selection. A weak chick is eaten by its siblings to save energy and cats kill out of play without even eating. Nature throws millions of animals into a niche where only a proportion will survive.. and many die an unpleasant death. Humans are trapped within this system too, even with huge effort we cannot fully remove ourselves from the cycles of suffering.

  • @Fraterculae I will tell Vegans to stop being compassionate about anyone other that their own kind because they can't really end suffering completely. I will remind them that it doesn't help climate change, and that the 400 page report by the UN is bogus. And finally, I will tell Vegans to stop making meat eaters feel guilty so that they/YOU can eat all they/YOU want and have a clear conscious.

  • @ShoyuTofu i work on environmental projects with hunter gatherers in very remote areas .. it makes sense to have the capacity to eat to eat animal foods if you really have to.

  • @ShoyuTofu With animal products completely removed from diet .. it becomes hard to travel because any animal food you have to eat in emergency actually makes you ill. I try to make sure the ends justify the means.. if i work on a really important project i think it might justify lapsing in my diet to some degree. I find this all so difficult!!

  • Love this! Woody is such a neat person. As a long-time vegan myself (almost 20 yrs now), I have to say it's such a joyful way to live - the best food, optimal health, and much kinder to all of life. Gotta love it! :-)

  • Comment removed

  • i remember in nbk with a bag of meat :D

  • people been eating meat for thousands of years. I sure as fuck ain't gonna break that cycle.

  • @kikomiko1:

People have been torturing and killing animals (including humans) since the dawn of humanity.

Should you also not veer away from that path? It is after all clearly the norm.

  • @NineInchSamusAran sorry, but I've never tortured or killed an animal in my life. I just eat them. Of course I don't condone animal abuse, but animals are going to be abused in slaughterhouses no matter what. I wish it weren't so, but it's a fact of life.

  • @kikomiko1:

When you purchase factory farmed meat, dairy or eggs, you are having torture done on your behalf. That it wasn't your own hand doing that abuse and killing does not change that it was done *solely for you*.

I prevent the death of approximately one hundred animals per year, by being vegan.

I've hunted, killed by hand, cleaned, prepared and eaten animals. I don't think meat eaters should be allowed to eat meat if they can't personally stomach killing animals -- that's hypocrisy.

  • @NineInchSamusAran Yeah but that's not really practical, is it? What, am I supposed to go elk hunting in the middle of the Bronx?

  • people get used to killing animals pretty quickly. I wouldnt recommend people do it, it doesnt put them off meat it just makes them a bit hardened by killing. I worked with mongolian tribes who can kill without a seconds thought .. and the kindest most friendly people on earth. They can ride a horse, get off, kill it and eat it .. whilst being gentle loving people otherwise. Its just how they live.

  • i love meat but i also love woody........that sounds bad lol

  • @RonaldHyatt Maybe people are "preachy" because they care about animals, other people and the environment. If you have a voice (and empathy in your heart) use it, I say. Get the word out that All of Gods creatures deserve to live as they choose. Who are we to decide we can take their lives (which is cold blooded murder) and consume their flesh for our own moment of fleeting pleasure.

  • According to the USDA meat is healthy. So there take that u vegans

  • @phatcrayonz "According to the USDA meat is healthy." That is very, very funny, I love your sarcasm.

  • @AlexanderTheNotBad So much hate he has. Poor kid.

  • @AlexanderTheNotBad Why don't you get a life, or post a video and educate us all, instead of trolling all the channels with Vegan subjects.

  • @RonaldHyatt Please don't preach to me about my given right to eat what I want, even if my palette's satisfaction requires the murder of a sentient animal which has less of an impact on this earth, and as much right to live as I. As the greatest vermin that plagued this vast and beautiful planet I demand my meat, and your preaching is futile. My vicious gluttony rules my consciousness, and my limited brain power succumbs to the savory songs of the rest my species. I'm human, therefore, I take.

  • @RonaldHyatt You began with a prompt and popular statement but you lost me at "shut the fuck up". Why am I disappointed?. The likely hood of finding an intelligent life form on youtube is, well, not likely. For stimulating and intellectual debate look elsewhere. I which they could at least try to make it digestible for us thinking folk.

  • Comment removed

  • @RonaldHyatt "eggs are good for ya" As clearly noted by our own FDA... Bought and paid by the Egg Industry Machine. You know, denial is a form of substantial regression in a life form that also uses a small part of all its given traits.

  • Woody is the man!

Too bad he died so soon in Thin Red Line

  • this is amazingly funny i love it!!

  • As a Vegan I strive everyday to be a better person. I understand that everything I do has a karmic reaction over my soul and my environment.

  • FAKER, . . . FRAUD, . . . promoting the BEEF industry, and then proclaiming he's a Vegan. . .

  • @blooeify Iv done enough research to know eggs are not good for you. You missed the highest amount of concentrated sodium which is not good. When i read about cholestrol i never once read it was negated by yolk...where did you learn that??

Eggs contain the remains of a living creature that was killed. Sort of like eating a fetus that was removed, obviously killing it then eating it.then saying well it was dead when it went into my body...the natural hormones in plants are NOT the same.

  • @ChilenoPiscean22

naah egg is considered a super food.

It has the single highest concentration of choline in the food chain.

Instead you just hate anything non-vegan, and use that to point the finger.

  • I'm a vegan and eat reubans made from seitan all the time, they taste just as good as the meat filled reubans I used to eat only now I don't have the horrible heartburn that always followed. If people would simply give the meat substitutes a try they would be pleasantly suprised, unless they just refuse to give it a chance.

  • @blooeify

Eggs are the highest concentration of sodium on the planet, factory farm or not. Not too mention the NATURAL hormones inside an egg, desinged to feed and sustain that chick to birth. Not too mention chelestrol up the ass...We humans were not desinged to eat animals, why go against nature?

  • Why are they laughing?

  • Like Woody and many other enlighten people, I have found a way to reduce my carbon footprint, feel good about myself, help the environment that supports my life, respect all sentient earthlings, avoid violence, and found happiness in the process.

    I am Vegan.

  • @truth2748

I also am on that path, I turned vegan about a month ago and life couldnt be better, congrats!

  • @ChilenoPiscean22 Que viva Chile!. Congrats.

  • @truth2748 Same for me. Good things go together. Dr Doug Graham calls it "Winfinity"

  • @truth2748 Twat

  • Cool guy. Being vegan is one of the best things a person can do for their health and put a stop to animal suffering.

  • @Bolgi Very true, but i never would of expected him to be a vegan. Very nice.

  • i'm really trying to become vegetarian, but it's hard, so i'm just reducing on meat and stuff :P slowly

maybe someday i'll become a vegan

  • @Pnavr Just a reminder that you'll never be Vegan if you approach it a s diet, which is not.

  • @truth2748 yes, i know!

  • @blooeify ok well you eat eggs so it's ok. I guess I'm tlaking about people who don't eat any animal products at all. I can't count how many people I know that tried to go vegan and failed because they felt weak or dizzy.

  • woody knows about aminoacids XD

    such a good answer!

  • Wow. Woody harrelson is more full of shit than I could have ever concieved! "Your body has to break down proteins into amino acids"?? And then what? Utilize the amino acids to compose the exact same protein again?

  • @monkmellon Hahaha, you should probably think (or research) before you post your comment. Your body needs to break down protein into amino acids in order to utilise it. Amino acids are the building blocks of life. Plant protein is more easily digested, assimilated, utilised and eliminated than animal protein

If you don't know anything about nutrition, don't pretend like you do. Your comment made me laugh so hard because it just shows how full of shit YOU are.

  • @monkmellon

It is simple biology. Protein is not an energy source, the amino acids are used to repair and build synthesis, like your hair and nails are made of portein (amino acids) to use what little ATP (energy) from protein it has to be broken down then reused or transforme into ATP. Carbs and Lapids are much more higher in ATP energy. So the lie that we need Protein for fuel has been debunked

  • @monkmellon You shouldn't through shit in glass houses....LOL.. Woody didn't make that up. It's biological chemistry. Different cells are build with different proteins: cells from the brain, liver, skin, bone, nerves,....they're all different from muscle cells.

The body doesn't use anything the way it goes in.

  • woody harrelson is the coolest person alive!!!

  • Want to have a real WTF moment, google or wiki Woody Harrelsons father... mother... and who his father claimed to have been hired to kill by castrol

/tin foil hat... Woody himself is kick ass though, just that history will make you go, WTF?!?!?!

  • Raw food and weed FTW!

  • WHAT ABOUT THE FUCKIN TWINKIES???

    Zombieland :)

  • hey everybody eat whatever the FUCK you want life is short make it tasty

  • i love woody harrelson

  • Vegan and hemp-activist: Damn this guy is killing it. From just looking at him you won`t see this is his lifestyle.

  • He seems High on Drugs...............lol. No offense but he is out of it.

  • @darkruler1030: He obviously loves herbs as well as veggies.

  • He doesn't look like a vegan ;]

He looks like a one of the most mannish men....and this look doesn't match to vegan style...

But even if he eats only "greens" I love him ^^

  • @Breeslave better start a life assurance plan early buddy! :D

  • steak satiates the appetite better but doesn't give you more energy. The blood rushes from your head to your stomach and you fall asleep.
